This was just plain lack of care of a child's safety. If you don't feel you are capable of performing the job safely without cutting my kid, it is your responsibility as the professional to cease operation and communicate that. We've been here several times and never had an issue prior so hence the 3 stars.

Third time's the charm, folks…read more I've had a tough time finding a stylist who can give a decent haircut in the area. It's been a lot of disappointments and a lot of hats. I think I can put my hats away now: Megan knows how to cut hair. I gave her the same spiel I'd given the other stylists: I have a history of funky hair and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm growing it out, but I'd rather have it take longer and have my hair look good along the way. I also told her I was really nervous after my last couple haircuts in the tri-cities. For the first time, I felt heard. She explained her game plan for growing out while keeping it looking tidy. She asked how I liked to style it, asked what kind of product I liked to use, and set to snip-snipping away and thinning out my thick and heavy hair. She was chatty and friendly and overall delightful. Best of all? I have a haircut I like. I look and feel like myself. After a couple months of looking and feeling frumpy, it feels great to be back to normal.
