To Whom May Be Considering This Business: I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding a recent and incredibly upsetting experience I had at Studio One Salon on May 15, 2025. During my appointment, Bailey, the stylist, asked me to leave the salon with bleach still in my hair--mid-process. This was not only shocking but extremely unprofessional and unsafe. I trusted this salon with a service that requires care, timing, and expertise, and instead, I was left feeling completely dismissed & vulnerable. In addition to being told to leave with bleach still on my hair, Bailey repeatedly neglected me during the appointment, prioritizing another client while I sat waiting. She carried on extended personal conversations in between applying foils, often pausing between sections to speak at length before moving to the next. This resulted in my hair processing unevenly, as sections were left to develop far longer than others. The lack of attention to timing and technique was concerning and felt careless. Even more discomforting was the nature of the conversations she chose to have in front of me. Her discussions about her personal life were inappropriate for a professional setting and added to the overall lack of respect and professionalism I experienced. When I tried to contact the salon afterward for help and to speak with someone about what happened, I was rudely hung up on twice by the front desk staff. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was told that she was already aware of my complaint--before I had even explained what had happened. This left me feeling talked about, dismissed, and unsupported, as if there had been assumptions made about me before I even had a chance to share my side. I left Studio One Salon not only with my hair unfinished but in tears. The entire experience--from being neglected during a chemical service to being treated dismissively when I reached out--was deeply upsetting and painful. What was promised to be a professional and quality experience turned into one of the worst salon visits I've ever had. I would strongly caution potential clients to consider this experience when deciding where to go. Professionalism, empathy, and basic care should never be optional in this industry. A brighter version with face framing highlights. The only draw back was that my session took nearly 3 hours to complete. Less than 1 star- KATHY NUNEZ is condescending and horribly rude the way she talks to not only her clients but her staff- she told me she was "vetoing" my request for an a-line cut after she failed miserably at TRYING to do longer hand tied extensions. She is also the highest priced person for these type. She decided to try and argue with me in front of her staff. Not to mention she was non stop gossiping with her girls while doing my hair about lots of other people. So unprofessional. I have heard lots of friends warn me about going to her but decided to try anyway. I should have listened $1800 later that I'm out- AND SHE FRIED MY HAIR. read more

My girlfriend went here to get her hair bleached by her stylist McKenzie. She left the room and came back later on her phone, leaving the product in too long! My girlfriend's hair started falling out and breaking. She called Studio One back and they recommended a few hair products for her to try. She went back in and then they charged her another $250 on hair products that did not work. You could literally see her scalp on areas after this. To add icing on the cake they refused to allow her to return the products after a week of not seeing any improvement. I understand mistakes, that's when you refund and make it right to the best of your ability which was not done at all, up charge for products and fail to return way to add insult to injury. She is still trying to get her hair to normal after 2 years the reason for me to take my time to leave this review, hopefully I save another from having this happen, set your own timer here! read more

I was excited to get an appointment here after seeing photos on Instagram. Unfortunately, after paying $300 for a partial foil I came home to find multiple bleed lines under the top layer of my hair. The toner she used also made the top 1/4 of my head blue and didn't match the bottom half. Now, I understand when accidents happen but when I contacted them to fix it I heard crickets for 3 weeks. By the time Kathy Nunez finally got back to me (with a million excuses) I had already gotten it fixed somewhere else (paying once again). Highly disappointing experience and I would never go back.
