Every single staff member showed off their beautiful smiles and instantly made our daughter feel comfortable during her first ever visit to a dentist. Dr Yoomi Heo and her assistants were fantastic with making Kayla feel comfortable and excited about her visit to the dentist office. Kayla had a general check-up, x-rays taken and plaque removed today and the way the staff at 'Lots of Sunshine Dentistry' introduced her to the tools and procedures instantly made her feel secure about the visit and actually made her enjoy it so much she wanted to come back again tomorrow. When Kayla first sat down in the chair, the dentist explained how everything worked and gave Kayla a small prize for doing so well with having her x-rays taken. After the entire procedure the dentist rewarded her again for a job well done by giving her a token to their toy capsule vending machine! The facility is very well kept, staff very professional and courteous, and best of all they had plenty of parking. Stephanie made sure she addressed my concerns and shared them with Dr. Chen. As usual, Dr. Chen was a Prince, being both knowledgeable and reassuring. As I no longer have dental insurance, I signed up for their $349 annual "membership". This provides a member with 2 cleanings and a 40% discount on any other dental services they may need. They scared me into thinking my son had to have braces, his teeth would be crooked and he would look terrible. Thank God I got a second option and that dentist advised against it. So I decided to give it a shot as my old dentist, the office is older and didn't feel comfortable going there. The office is clean, new, and sparkly. It's like walking into a modern hotel lobby. The exam room was also nice and there are big windows to let the light in. Everything looked so clean. I loved the comfort menu. What a nice touch! I didn't really ask for anything as I was just doing a routine exam. For longer procedure, I might ask for a few things from the menu. The doctor did put some lip balm on my lips and that was so thoughtful because my lips weren't totally dried out after cleaning like they usually do. Who knew you could get a bit of pampering at the dentist office! Dr. Lee was great. Efficient and explained things well. She came to clean instead of a hygienist. I really like my old dentist but I just love the new office, equipment, and special touches throughout the office.

So then this middle aged white man walked in with his child and immediately the Asian woman whom I noticed at her desk popped up from her seat asking the white man for his info. So I had to jump in and tell the both of them that I had been here first and the lady behind the counter said oh I thought you came together knowing damn well she seen me walk in alone with my brown skinned daughter. And she knew that she had seen the white man come in alone with his white daughter. So then an Asian man came in with his daughter and what do you know everyone had went in their appointments before me even though I was there before them. So no lie I did feel a little discriminate against! So I felt that was kinda weird and unprofessional on that Asian lady working behind the counter.
