I took a loan out and have been making all my payment on time and even paid sometime twice the amount so not to pay back all that interest. On Dec 23 2021 I received a call informing me that my payment was due, I informed the girl that I tried over the weekend to my a payment online but the site was down. (it usually is) So I proceeded with my payment and asked how much my payoff was and so I agreed to pay a larger amount. The girl ask me for my card number again which I thought it odd, that was a red flag. A couple of days later I was reviewing my CC statement and noticed that they charged me twice for close to $800 dollars. My payment was less than $250. So I call the location informed them that they had charged me twice at that time she spoke to the manager and were going to refund my payment. Well jump ahead two later and no refund and they're calling me again to make a payment and I told them that I wasn't going to make a payment until that refund shows up in my account. Then I'm informed that they're just going to apply the refund payment toward my newest payment. So they basically lied to me and now or applying a minimal payment with all the interest. This is where they messed up. Do not trust New Mexico Title loan.

The women working here are unprofessional, yelling at every family member who is still in mourning when trying to speak to them. They also incompetent in every way. Very rude and disrespectful. Calling a family in mourning rude and in response saying ''blah blah blah". A family member who took out a loan prior to his death, family unaware of when because they won't give that info, who had PTSD, trying to get things situated did not allow us to have time to get things in order. They Went and repoed the deceased vehicle. When We couldn't even get our personal items from it. Then when we went to check on the vehicle they gave us the runaround as well with an address that you cannot locate. Do not go to these places for money!!! No matter what! They will charge interest and go harass all family members and friends until they get what they need. They do not care about your personal or emotional state or what happened to the person who took out the loan. Nor their frame of mind when taking out a loan. They will be open to take money but not willing to help. They also ''conveniently'' towed the vehicle on a Friday afternoon, no warning, so that way we couldn't do anything about it until Monday. Monday came around, and still no help from the rude employees working there. Do NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE! I'm usually a positive person for businesses but places like this should never be opened. Now we have to deal with these people again, and now bringing a lawyer and police officer and recording our interaction with this awful place once again. This will be posted on social media as well.
