I recently got a chunk of money from work for important dental. The dentist my work recommended suggested about 6 small jobs which would've gone through the money allocated by work exactly (funny that;). They pressured me to start straight away but I made them wait and give me the x rays then went to Alvin for a second opinion. Thank God! One of the first things these other guys (Smile Dental Brunswick st) wanted to do was cap one tooth at a cost of about $600. That tooth was rotten from beneath and fell apart a week later!! Instead of the 6 small jobs Alvin recommended one big one which involved pulling a tooth, inserting a bridge and paying a little myself. His clinic doesn't usually work with the providers of this money but he bent over backward to help. All the dentists at this practice are young and up to date on latest materials and treatments (unlike my old dentist who filled my mouth with mercury - since problematic). When I've occasionally been unable to settle a bill on the day they've given me a couple of weeks although I think this policy just changed. It's not 'your friendly family dentist' but so many dentists work here that you can always see someone at short notice if it's urgent Use Alvin if you can!

I'm sure he is good at his job, I don't really know as my appointment had been shortened due to a delay in the previous, and therefore was told I was unable to get my filling in this appointment. It cost me about $85 for the appointment and the test to check which teeth need to be filled. I'm not upset about that cost, but am upset I'll have to pay yet another consultation fee on top of approx $215 for the filling. However, I didn't express any concerns in my appointment, but that didn't prevent the dentist from telling me off. He told me off for incorrectly identifying between 1 and 10 the level of discomfort I was in, I can only describe from what I know, so maybe 1 to 10 isn't the most effective method maybe asking if it hurts as much as x since it seemed to really annoy you. I also got lectured for booking a 30 minute emergency booking (I have no idea what he is talking about as I did it through health engine and they just show you what's available not what type of appointment it is). He said 30 minutes is not long enough and made me feel like it was my fault, he should be happy he's making even more money out of me. What was weird though was when I went to reception she booked next week's appointment (which I'm about to cancel and go to melbourne dentist clinic instead as I've heard good things) and she said it was 30 minutes. So is this standard or emergency? I don't know.

The dentist, Dr Damian, was thorough, gentle and extremely competent. His philosophy is to avoid drilling unless it's necessary, which is great! I had a sensitive spot on my tooth, which I was sure was a cavity. He took a photo (in addition to X-rays) and showed me that the sensitive spot was due to the fact that I had brushed away the enamel on that tooth! He recommended an electric toothbrush so I didn't put too much pressure on that tooth. Also he polished down an old filling that was too bulky and made it hard to floss - for free! No other dentist had offered to do that for me. I was so pleased, I booked my daughter in (they have TVs on the ceilings and a children's specialist for cleanings). My husband will be going as well. Basically the dentist is fantastic, the equipment is brand new, they are well set up for kids, and they are very reasonably priced. And you don't have to be a Bupa member.

From the welcome staff to dentist and back out again you will be hard pressed to fault these ladies. Truly smile angels!! Price wise this little gem is cheaper than my local suburban dentist. Good because you don't have to pay her, bad because she is your mom. I did my obligatory cross searching across in the internets and came to the conclusion I needed to come here. I entered and it felt like I was in a modern spa sort of place. The people were all quite friendly, one was REALLY friendly. The dentist I didn't see for that long, but he was very straight forward and approachable, I will have a better feeling when I get my xrays next time. My hygenist was young, friendly and did a good job on being gentle even with the sonic teeth cleaner thing. As a first time patient you get a nice candle ( I know, it was a little weird but hey a nice free candle is always appreciated) a bunch of travel toothpaste, gum and other stuff. Overall I was exteremly satisfied, the only thing I can complain about is that it felt *slightly* rushed. Maybe because the office, which is in two seperate parts of the building was larger and had more staff than I have been used to. I am very happy with this ultra modern dentist and felt like they hire friendly knowledgeable people. Time will tell if it continues to refine its services or if it declines and tries to pump as many people as possible through its doors. I am hoping for the former.

I obviously jumped on Yelp and Novadental had racked up all 5 star reviews, so I gave them a call and they graciously booked me in for the following day. The dentist was lovely, even if he did break my heart by telling me that grazing may be the best thing for your waistline, but the worst thing for your teeth. Darn decay. He was constantly checking in throughout the procedure making sure I was still comfortable, which was very reassuring. I was happy with the work, it was expensive like all dentists are, but would definitely recommend them.

The staff at the facility are always very nice and I never have to wait long. Personally I prefer to only see the dentist, rather than opt to have a hygienist clean my teeth.

Worst dentists ever. They fitted front top 8 crowns so badly that my face started to spasm down,…read morethen my neck, then my hips. I'm fine, as long as I don't touch bite these teeth together. The muscle memory has now stuck because they didn't fix it in a timely manner. So I'm now on my 6th splint to try and repair the damage they have done. Do. Not. Go. To. Hampstead Dental! Crowns from them have ruined my face, body, and self esteem. Plus, they're a covid infection site. Probably because Mr Ed is so narcissistic that he probably hosted one of the northside infection parties that brought Victoria to its knees. Well done Hampstead, you're really ruining as many lives as possible. I'll be back with lawyers once I get the final bill for repairing your dodgy work.

I generally go to Highpoint Dental Clinic, because I know I can usually make an appointment for within a week of when I want to go. The dentists are nice, the reception staff are friendly and seem pretty competent ( good with appointments and billing). Magazines in the waiting room are old, but I guess thats not really what you go to the dentist for huh......Oh and most importantly, I never dread coming here. That might change if I ever need a tooth pulled... Gulp.

They took the info and i waited for 25 mins and they didn't tell me that the heigenist I chose wasn't covered. $160 bucks out of pocket. And they knew full well as they pushed me to rebook afterwards with a different covered heigenist, noting that my gap was coz she was a casual worker there. They all acted dumb Appauled! Dont trust! Dishonest!

A thorough initial assessment led by Dr Fern White revealed a pretty bleak outlook without comprehensive treatment. This came as no surprise after some 70 years of dental work, latterly much of it just patching up. Offered three options I chose the top programme. Some months of intensive treatment later, thanks to Dr Mikhil and colleagues I now have a set of strong teeth and a confident smile. I cannot speak too highly of this practice where the different skills of the team are brought together effectively and caringly . Everyone seems to know who you are and what stage your treatment is at and problems along the way are rapidly addressed. Whilst the initial outlay seemed a challenge, it was actually a very good deal for the hours of work and complexity of treatment I received.

I had stressful experiences as a teenager with rough dentists, but I really needed some help. The whole team at Beacon Cove are friendly and always eager to help me feel at ease. I got a full plan of my treatment and now that it is finished I feel like a new man. Their attention to detail was amazing, it was perfection or nothing for them. I am so thankful to the dentists and nurses who were always patient with me and acted very kindly, as I am sure I was being a bit childish at times. It is now a pleasure visiting the dentist, as it should be. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

However, a friend recommended Hoppers Crossing Dental Clinic - and I am so grateful. My daughter and I both now see Ashlee - who has made us both so comfortable that we are even going twice yearly!
