Living in Southern California and not being familiar with florists in the Salt Lake City area, it could have been an issue when I was tasked with coordinating the flowers for a surprise proposal for a young couple. However, from the moment I emailed Stefanie, I knew I was in excellent hands. I was able to share with her some inspiration photos as well as some of the darling couple. We discussed flower colors and more information about the young couple. We discussed over the next few weeks, both via emails and on the phone, what the future groom envisioned the scene to look like and where/how he wanted the flowers placed and then the rest was up to Stefanie. There was something about how she spoke regarding designs, as well as her website photos, that allowed me to trust her vision without seeing any floral selections ahead of time. Her prices were also right in line with his budget and on the day of the proposal, I flew into SLC, and picked up the arrangements. When I entered her cute flower shop, they immediately took my breath away! She could not have done a more perfect job. She happened by chance to use a rose called Moab, which is a dusty beige, almost pale pinkish wide open rose, which just so happened to be same name of one of the very first locations this couple went to on a weekend getaway. It's those magical moments that further showed me, this was the flower designer meant for their engagement. After their private proposal, when they started sharing their photos with family and friends, the amount of gasping comments over the beautiful flowers it became apparent to everyone how stunning the florist is and how they lucked out! Stefanie captured the romantic look they both desired. If you ever need to WOW someone with flowers, look no further than The Art Floral. Stefanie and her staff are so talented, you will definitely find what you need. If they choose to get married in the area, we will definitely be using her as well! Once you see what she created for them, you will see why.

Never in my life have I experienced such behavior, and I can assure you....she is in the wrong business. Gloria F. Reno.NV.

The shop is an old house that has been repurposed into a fantastic space that exudes positive energy. I visited recently and was looking for something special for my best friend, who is a collector of stones and gems. I am not well-versed in stones, but I knew I wanted something that would signify our friendship/sisterhood. A lovely staff member jumped into action and curated a sampling of options for me to choose from. I was so grateful for their efforts to help me find just the right gift, and I fell in love with one of them-a watermelon tourmaline. They offered gift wrap options and made sure it was ready for my friend to love. While I was there, I interacted with a couple different staff members and they were so welcoming and helpful. I would love to spend hours in here, even just taking in all the good vibes and energy. I'll certainly be back when I need a power boost.

I love the remodel that happened a few years ago now. The back rooms opened up for more shop space filled with cards and other mindful gifts. They still have a range of crystals from tumbles to more rare and expensive pieces (ohhhhhh, one day I'll collect those rarer pieces). I do miss the dove who was their singing shop keeper. I love coming out to Turiya's... it's always a treat!

I got my mother-in-law flowers from here and loved that an anemone flower was used. I didn't know what the bouquet would look like so it was a total surprise. I liked the simple/modern vase that came with it and how it wasn't the typical/cheap see-thru glass one you get from most bouquet places. The bad: For $65, I was expecting a slightly larger bouquet with more than the 6-7 flowers that were in my order but I understand that rarer flowers cost more. The florist called/texted my recipient to deliver the flowers but I think I would have liked it to just be dropped off at the front door instead for a better surprise. I think how it works is they want to deliver it and make sure that your recipient is available to receive the order. The interesting: You place your order thru email and get an invoice maybe a week later (or at least I did) from which you pay online.

I love how unique her bouquets are, they really stood out from a standard bouquet/flower shop. We had a short text convo and she sent me an invoice immediately and confirmed the delivery. The recipient was so pleased and the process of working with Linzi was quick and straightforward! I really appreciate her help and highly recommend The Runaway Florist!

Not only do they have the cutest clothes and home decor, but they also have a dirty soda bar with chewable ice!! The Diet Coke brew is REALLY good! They also have fresh sliced limes and lots of syrups. There's a sign with some soda/syrup combos if you aren't sure what to make. You know what's amazing? Sipping while you shop! The night I went they had a pop up with a girl doing permanent jewelry. They have a bunch of cute valentines decor and cards. I'm such a sucker for a heart, so it was the perfect time for me to go. They also had a bunch of other cute decor. Really good selection of coffee table books and cook books! They also had a really cute clothes. It looked like they had some dressing rooms. They have a beautiful flower bar with super cute valentines ribbons. At the front counter, they have a bunch of candies and some behind the registers that the employees can get for you. When I went to check out, the girl was getting some candy for someone, and she made sure to make eye contact with me and say she'd be right there. Very hospitable. The prices are what is to be expected from an adorable, local boutique. The stuff that's on the pricier end seemed worth it to me, and there were some things that I thought were priced really well. I loved everything about this store and can't wait to go back!!
