Their aquatic park and pool complex is excellent. You can pay the nonresident entry fee and enjoy open swim. They've got a large waterslide for anyone over 48 inches tall but they also have the children's pool with the children's slide. Shallow area for play and a deep end for diving practice. Lifeguards on duty. The Grands love it. Nice locker rooms and plenty of vending machines. Check the website for pool times which change seasonally.

I think the only thing that is steep is the cost. But at the end keeping my kid focused and interested can't be measured by money. He likes it a lot and he likes his teacher. There are two sheets of ice and plenty of other amenities. There are really no bad seats for watching a youth hockey game. The locker rooms were clean and spacious, there is plenty of parking as well as nearby hotels if you are visiting for a tournament. This rink has a skate sharpener, small pro shop and a really nice concession stand. Parking is a challenge if there is a lot going on at the rink, but once inside there is plenty of room. The ice quality is great and they seem to be really well organized. Overall, this is a top notch facility.

Usually, we do 1 lesson per week for 10-12 weeks, but due to the weird summer (covid), we got in on 2 lessons per week for 4 weeks. Today, the teacher was very engaging with the kids, worked with what they did well, and worked on what they needed help with. The teacher to student ratio was good. (the most students per teacher is 4). These are things we really like about this school. Covid info: All staff are wearing plastic face shields, and all non swimmers are required to wear masks. Hand sanitizer is available and used upon entering the building. Chairs (around pool area) are in groups of 2 and spaced 6ft apart, they are also sanitized after they have been sat in. After the lesson is over, we leave out of a side door, and walk around the building to the parking lot.
