For the drive thru safari, they have a variety of animals, from Alpacas to bears to camels to giraffes. You can purchase a bucket of feed for $9, but make sure you hold on to the bucket tight, because all of the animals are super strong! We ended up losing one of our buckets to the deer, haha! In the main farm area, they have some really cool play structures and tunnels that go underground and above ground. The kids had a blast crawling all over the place. Our favorites were the bird exhibit and the bear exhibit. The birds are not afraid of humans and will flock to you as soon as you enter their area. Im the bear section, we got to see the two brown bear brothers wrestle and "fight" over who got to sit in the pool. The brown bears were very interactive and would run with the children along the fence, back and forth. The biggest hit for our kids was the corn kernel area. It's essentially a giant pit filled with dried corn kernels. Our kids played in there for a good hour and didn't want to leave! It's also a great place to relax and cool down out of the heat. They have a bunch of animals that you can pet and hold if interested. For us, the safari was a great one time experience and likely wouldn't be something that we would drive through again, but the main play area is where we will definitely be going back to time and time again!

We arrived around 10:15 (they open at 10) and they had people directing us where to park. It was really simple and easy. There were so many trees all around, with all the tree areas labeled for the various kind of apples. We wandered to see the beautiful pumpkin patch (so esthetic) and the cute little house for lovely photo ops! We were shocked to see that we didn't have people lined up waiting, but were able to capture some pictures. There is a corn-maze and you can pick as many apples as you want (I think it's weigh by the pound?) and they had some beautiful mums for sale as well! I highly recommend coming out for the fun space (including a hayride) if that's something you're interested in, but know that the later you go, the parking will be hectic, crowds will be ample and you'll have a lot to wait for. The other thing is that there is 3 different "Crane's" locations in the same area. They are all technically owned and operated by different people, so it just depends on which one you'd like to go to!

From a petting zoo to a pumpkin patch, Fruit Ridge Hayrides has fun activities for guests of every age. We picked apples, pet some farm animals, and went on one of their titular hayrides pulled by a team of trained horses. The trail took us through a small patch of woods, and all the Fall colors were on full display. They also have a corn maze, but if the ground is wet, we highly recommend wearing some boots in case you get muddy. We'll definitely be coming back next year!
