great results so far! i get 4 tattoos done in a 1 min period. the pain is unbearable but its literally 60 seconds and then you're finished so its worth it. one thing i recommend is that you wait 12 weeks between sessions vs 6-8 weeks, it gives your body more time to absorb and get rid of the ink. my photo on the left is before treatment and the photo on the right is after 2 sessions that were 16 weeks apart, this was only a few days after my second session so over the next few weeks it'll lighten up even more. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR TATTOO REMOVAL. Rosalyn is extremely knowledgeable of the service she is providing. She genuinely cares about helping her clients. She answered all my questions in a one-on-one consultation. The previous tattoo removal provider I went to took full advantage of me, ripped me off, and spaced my treatments too close together so my progress was actually hindered. Rosalyn powers through the treatment (rather than stopping to ask if you're okay and to apply ice) which is what I prefer. I'm removing a 7.5" x 5" tattoo from my leg with lots of lines/detail and she had finished lasering within 2-3 minutes. No blistering or side effects. I already notice a difference after one treatment with her. Her prices are fair and she is not out to take advantage of her clients like so many other tattoo removal providers are. This is the third tattoo removal place I've been to, and I couldn't recommend it more. I have a relatively small black tattoo around my ankle, and spent a ridiculous amount of money trying to get it removed (8 sessions) at Diablo Regional Laser Center. It faded, but WAY less than one would expect from 8 very expensive treatments. Next I found a Groupon for LaserAway in Walnut Creek for $400 for 4 treatments. It faded a bit more, but after the 4 Groupon treatments, the price was going to go way up to continue, and the tattoo was far from gone. I have been to one treatment so far at Unchained, and it cost me a mere $65! Even if I have to go 5-10 more times, I'm saving a bunch of money. My first visit was no-nonsense, in and out in about 10 minutes. Super friendly people, and a simple quick process. Pretty painful of course, but that's not their fault, it's mine for getting a stupid tattoo when I was 18 (51 now). The pain doesn't last long, and it will be so worth it once this goofy thing (90's tribal art ankle wrap) is gone. A+, five stars, highly recommended. read more

They double book. My first visit I waited 45mins after my appointment time. 2nd appointment I went to the receptionist and another girl said she had an appointment at the same time I did. Then I got an angry text saying, "Please wait in your car until you're called due to covid". My 3rd visit I forgot about my appointment and they blocked me. After two vists I never saw a difference. They help people get rid of their unwanted tattoos to help them find jobs by allowing them to pay a fraction of the cost compared to a regular tattoo removal place. This place is absolutely amazing! For years I've been looking into getting my tattoos removed because I've been very unhappy with them. I've gone to a few other places for quotes on how much they would charge per session and one place told me that for my full back piece would be, not joking, $33,000 for THREE sessions. $11,000 per session! I of course did not go there and continued to search for more reasonable prices. I first found one in San Jose that was a great price and nice people and while going to them I found unchained from the cave was closer to me and their prices were even better. After being quoted $11,000 for a single session and then finding unchained from the cave, I was ecstatic! I would bet money that you can't find a place that will beat their price. But the price isn't even the best part! Rosalyn and her staff are absolutely amazing! They Always happy to see you, treat you like your friends from day one and make you feel extremely comfortable during the process. I have kind of long sessions lasting upwards of 15 minutes and Rosalyn is constantly making sure that my experience is going well. She knows what she's doing and she's a great people person. Very easy to make appointments and I have never had to wait past my appointment tome. Actually most of the time, she's called me back early.
