I met Doug and Dorene at a motel in Utah. My wife, Pat, and I were staying there as well, and I was immediately impressed by their friendliness. Doug was on his WHILL, and we had been considering a chair for Pat's sister, Jane, who was disabled from a recent stroke. After seeing Doug's WHILL, and even taking a test drive at the motel, we decided that we had to get one for Jane. We did a few months later, and I was grateful for the kindness and assistance provided by New Tech Mobility in helping us improve Jane's quality of life. Fast forward to now. I have had several UTI episodes that have left me very unsteady on my feet, and since I didn't just want to sit around the house, I called Doug. OH MY GOODNESS. What an amazing couple running an amazing business that actually helps people! They were so genuinely compassionate and knowledgeable. They are located near the airport which is very convenient. I can certainly expect to see these in air BNB's to help people with mobility! What an amazing, life-changing product. We came out to Scottsdale from San Francisco and found that our key had been tossed and our scooter had been damaged at our house. Doug and his wife came and met us on the way to the airport, (on their DAY OFF) no questions asked. They made us feel so comfortable and helped us out immensely. They were so sweet and understanding that I cried LOL. We are now exploring the WHILL models (they personally own one which really sold me) and will absolutely be purchasing from them. Amazing. Sometimes you forgot that amazing customer service can exist and this company exemplifies what it means to have exceptional service. My mother in laws charger for her electric wheelchair unexpectedly stopped working and left her unable to move around at work. I called them at opening and he explained the charger they had. Upon my mother in law calling to pay, the company offered to drive it to her because we were nearby. Once together we learned she has an unusual charging port and that chord did not work. (Neither did the five we ordered before contacting his business lol). He then personally went to look at her wheelchair so he could diagnose the type of charger needed. He did not carry it but was able to research to locate one and get it ordered. He then also made it so she could rent a scooter from him in the meantime so she could move around. I am SO grateful we decided to call their company. His number is now saved in my phone for any future instances where we may need assistance. Thank you for making this frustrating situation fixable and having compassion. We greatly appreciate all that you did for us today! read more
