Oh my goodness! There IS such a thing as a "carpet whisperer" and I found him: Aaron, the owner of New View. Ours was a dire situation: about a week before closing on the sale of a house, our dog had an attack of nerves and defecated on our fine wool carpeting in the largest room in the house. In four separate areas. Diarrhea--liquid poop. It was a nightmare. We observed how little a difference our best efforts were yielding. Then came Aaron & company! He gave us hope, but no guarantees. But, he took it on as if it were HIS problem, and that made all the difference. He cleaned for hours and then made a return visit and cleaned some more. Bottom line? The carpet looks great. Better carpet cleaning than I thought was possible! CAT HAIR -- New Vision removed cat hair left other cleaners missed despite five years of annual cleanings! New Vision found it using a special tool that other cleaners don't own. RED WINE STAIN -- New Vision removed a wine stain that other cleaners said was permanent. We've needlessly looked at the stain for years! GROUND-IN DIRT -- New Vision removed dirty spots on stairway landings that other cleaners blamed on the carpet losing its dye. The carpet is fine. It's the completion's skills that are lacking. RAKING -- New Vision raked the carpets before leaving. It sounds trivial, but it's not! I cannot possibly say enough about how absolutely phenomenal this company is. Supporting small local businesses is very important to me & I can say without question I will be a lifelong customer. I moved back to the valley after 20 years one week ago & contacted a carpet cleaning company that was recommended by my movers, to have 2 nearly new 8x10 shag rugs cleaned. They had been rolled up in storage since February so I just wanted to freshen them up. I could see during the cleaning that my rugs were turning a dingy color & even turned dark on the spots where he would stand. The rugs are less than 1 year in use with a strict no shoes rule, by the time he was done they looked old & dirty like someone wiped dirty shoes all over them. TL;DR - Aaron and his guys do great work - book them! My husband and I were going to be buying our neighbor's house, and I was preparing by planning out what needed to be done prior to move-in. I was leery of renting equipment and doing a proper job, DIY-style, as the bulk of the house was carpeted, and hadn't been well cleaned in quite some time. So, I Googled up some local cleaners. New View's site impressed me, and I put them down to call for a quote as soon as we had closed on the house and were ready to start on tidying it up pre-move. Once we were ready, I hopped on Yelp (*usually* my first stop), out of curiosity, and read New View's reviews. I really liked what I read; they reinforced my impressions of what I'd seen on New View's site, and cemented my decision to make the call. I called, left a message, and a (very) short wait later, Aaron called me back. We had a brief conversation about New View's services, and our needs for this house. I was happy to hear that there was indeed a discounted price for an empty house (vs. a furnished one). My husband and I were interested in a standard cleaning (w/ any carpet correction, replacement, etc), as the carpet in the house was not in the best of shape, and would likely be replaced within the next 6 months. Aaron was very concise, his quote spot-on, and had great communication with us. On the day of our appointment, he and his team arrived promptly (early, even!), and got right to work. I generally try not to Yelp too much because in this day and age when even Grandma wants a Yelp review on her muffins, Yelp reviews start to become questionable. But in the case of Aaron, I can't not review him because it just wouldn't be right and I would lose sleep. (Spoiler alert for long version:) Our carpets look, feel, and smell amazing!!! **novel length version for those who love detail:** I first reached out to New View about two years ago, when we were closing on our house. I thought it would be great to get the carpets cleaned while the house was empty, especially because who knows what was on those floors (not forgetting that plenty of people probably viewed the home before we closed). Aaron was responsive and super helpful. We decided against carpet cleaning at the time, partly because we just wanted to move in ASAP, and because, hello, buying a home is expensive! Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. I looked down at our carpets with disdain regularly... seeing all my failures as a homeowner reflected in them. I kept asking myself, "How did we get here?!" My husband and oldest son are professional carpet stainers (in case you're on the market for such a service), and I am terrible at figuring out how to get that stuff out. We had a carpet shampooer that we occasionally attempted to clean with, but there were serious issues with our carpets that only holy water or new carpeting could help. High traffic areas were so painfully obvious. Other mystery stains were a bit terrifying. And with a young baby, I kept thinking..."We have got to do something about this before he's crawling!" Only someone with the highest integrity would give recommendations and advice that keep us from needing to enlist his help again. (Or maybe he thought he didn't ever want to wrestle with our catastrophic staining abilities again. I'm sure it's the former.) I fully expected extra charges for our apocalyptic carpet conditions, but somehow, we escaped unscathed. We did the math after Aaron left, and we felt that there was no way Aaron's time was worth the small price we paid to restore our carpets to an amazing condition. In case you're wondering, they are soft, smell great, and look unbelievably amazing. If you're looking for a company where you truly get your money's worth in service and quality of the outcome (I'm talking full Hollywood style makeover), look no further than New View. Finding a excellent carpet cleaning service has never been easy. Eric was a great communicator, professional, friendly, and thorough. My carpet was so dirty, and it looks new again, smells fantastic, and feels so good barefooted. I thought it would take a few days to dry, but it completely dried within 24 hours. I gave my carpet a couple thorough vacuuming, just believe the more dirt and dust removed prior to cleaning gives a best out come. New View is more than just a great business. These folks are wonderful people who care to give their best to make your life better. My husband and I had a VERY difficult situation where our beloved family dog had a crisis last day of his life,and sparing you all the graphic details our house and carpets were ruined for certain. My husband called New View from the emergency vet because he didn't want me to get home and see the house looking like a crime scene - losing our poor pooch was distressing enough. Aaron and his crew arrived on time at my daughters home in Medford Oregon and they were very professional. They used state of the art equipment to test for pet urine prior to steam cleaning as the crystals in pet urine can be re activated by water. After it was determined that we did not have pet urine, they vacuumed, then used an amazing machine with rubber rollers that extracted all sorts of debris all the way down to the pad. Finally they used the steam cleaner with 250 degree steam. His custom made filter he placed in line between the truck and the house filled up with even more dirt. Now the house feels really clean.
