My daughter and I have been attending New Wave Gymnastics for about two years and it is the best gym in town we have been to yet. In a nice area surrounded by oak trees giving it a private feel. The gym itself has nice equipment and they are always getting new things. Not overly crowded classes or lobby, very attentive coaches and staff. The lobby is very accommodating and has a kids room with books, toys and television, as well as an extra room for birthday parties etc,, the bathrooms are always clean and they even have a changing table in bathroom and sometimes diapers and wipes (in case of emergencies) Occasionally children act up in the gym and even adults in lobby which I have seen to be handled kindly and professionally. I've noticed owners are very involved in their business working all days and nights my daughter and I have been there. Just very genuine and family orientated people. I also think it's cool that there is a back room there for the owners and staffs children (which almost all staff there has young kids) where they hangout, do their homework, socialize and just have a nice comfortable spot to be while their parents work. We love New Wave Gymnastics! Wouldn't use any other gym! The owner, Jasmin Young is an excellent teacher! My daughter adores her and has learned so much from her. My daughter is only 4 & it amazes me at what she has learned from Jasmin! On occasion, she has had other teachers that have also all been excellent! I also love the fact that when my daughter started at 2 years of age, she was taught actual gymnastic skills by an instructor, it was not just a play gym for toddlers to run around. They have a great waiting area where you can watch the kids, as well as a TV to see them up close on the trampoline which is pretty cool. And if you have other children, the waiting area is so family-friendly! They have plenty of chairs, I always breast-feed my son and put him down for a nap as I watch my daughter, tables for snacks or lunches, a playroom which my son loves with toys and a TV and also a party room! We've also been to a birthday party there and it was really great, the kids had a blast! Would definitely recommend this gym!!! read more

New Wave Gymnastics has been a wonderful asset in my daughter's life. For years, we struggled to find an activity she showed interest in. Finally, this winter, she asked to try gymnastics. Going into this, I was nervous as my daughter is wary of new things and this has prevented her from participating in activities in the past. However, she felt comfortable and enthusiastic from the very first day! In two mini sessions, she has shown enough growth to move up where she will continue to spread her wings and fly. New Wave's staff have been supportive, encouraging, and most of all, they have contributed greatly to my daughter's increase in confidence and success. New Wave is an awesome place. My 3 girls have been going here since it opened and never once have I had a problem with any of the staff. They have always accommodated me with schedules due to have 3 going there at the same time. This is a family run establishment who put the Children First in all of their Decision Making. I have never seen anyone be disrespected. My girls love going here and look forward to their classes. They have had various teachers and have always loved all of them. I can't say enough good things about this gym. The staff is so amazing and very knowledgeable. My daughter started gymnastics a few months ago and has a very big passion for gymnastics. The coaches have embraced that and have helped her become the best she can be! She has been invited to the pre team. None of this could have been achieved had it not been for the incredible staff with their hard work and dedication to all the children. My kids have been going to New Wave for a couple of years now. We have had a total of 4 different coaches within Little Tot through Intermediate levels and have had very good experiences with all of them. I sincerely felt that in each class, the coaches really took interest in my children and their gymnastics progress. Huge bonus for me, as a parent, is the viewing window in the waiting room. We have been going to New Wave for about a year now, never have we been treated unfairly nor have we ever seen anyone treated unfairly. The coaches and owners are awesome and so approachable, my daughter loves this gym, they have instilled so much confidence in her that the previous gym we attended did not. New Wave is a fantastic place for all levels of gymnastics. They take the time with each child to progress their skills on their own schedule. They also communicate well with parents on their child's skills, things they can do outside of class, schedule adjustments and praise. My daughter has been going to this gym for two years, three times a week. The owners, staff, and coaches are incredible. My daughter is on competition team now and has moved up to level 4. My youngest loves her toddler class. She's been going for about a year now and looks forward to going each week. She especially likes the obstacles. My son has a blast in the Parkour class with Mr. Dario. Also, the lobby is clean and there are plenty of tables to sit at, and free wifi is a plus. Great gym! read more

Owner takes no accountability for how she treats the athletes and parents. Even adults can be bully's. Not a good environment for kids.
