You don't expect him to be a property management broker. Darus is always on the ground addressing tenant and landlord concerns with a lot of compassion while remaining fair to everyone involved. Real Property is one of the more exclusive PM companies in Humboldt, so they're not trying to add just any crap property to their inventory. It's rare to find a truly ethical property management company to work with. I would strongly recommend Real Property for either prospective tenants or landlords looking to hand off the headache of management. They have a lot of cool online tools for rental applications, screening, and rental payment, too!

Just got a bill 5 months after our move out, they are billing me for something that they refused to fix during our time renting from them. Be mindful that when dealing with these folks that they have super high turn-over and the right hand often knows little of what the left hand is doing. Coming out of left field with a haymaker and a misunderstanding of what really happened in the situation is hardly a good approach. I'd give zero stars if I could. Sarah was not professional and found us a inspector that we hired and didn't see the foundation problem and the extensive wood rot around chimney. The house had hard wood floors put in to hide the sagging and slopped floors. I thought you hire a realtor to help and protect you from these incidents. Buying a house in the biggest or one of the biggest decisions one can make and didn't know you have to get a back ground check on your realtor. Very disappointed and want to sue and see that Sarah Corliss never does this again. I should of known when she only wanted to use her friends instead of a professional inspector or structural engineer.

From the first day when we looked at the rental, to the day we signed the lease, right up until now, the staff has been nothing but friendly, helpful and made us feel very comfortable as tenants. Our house is older and each time we have had an issue that needed resolve, our landlord has been very quick to address the issue. We have had a water heater replaced, clogs fixed, windows mended, a toilet replaced and new sink hardware installed. I never felt like I was putting anyone out by announcing a problem and I would not hesitate to let them know if something else needed tending. On a more personal level, my landlord has been most genuine in inquiring about our young child who has so far grown up in this house and how our lives are in general.
