The technician's carelessness is mind-blowing: they **ripped apart the weather stripping** on my driver's side door, **shattered the rear light** on the rear windshield, and even **slashed my red leather seats** with a sharp tool, leaving an ugly, permanent gash. The seats alone cost a fortune to repair, and the shop's response? A shrug and a dismissive, "Oops, these things happen." Not only did they fail to take responsibility, but they also tried to blame *me* for the pre-existing condition of the car--as if I wouldn't notice fresh damage to my meticulously maintained BMW. Came here today to get a new car stereo installed. I was in a time crunch and was trying to get home so I could hop online for a work meeting. The employee who helped me, Paul, and this business in general were nice enough to take my urgency into consideration and had me out the door in 15 minutes . 15 minutes! Everything is set up right and I appreciate them wrapping it up so fast. I was able to beat traffic and get home just in time. I came back to this place and have been a customer of theirs for a long time. The previous radio I had which stopped working because it was just so old was the one I was getting replaced. Now I'm looking forward to getting some of those car cams with them. Can never be too safe and people out there drive crazy. Anyways, very cool place and I loved that's it wasn't crazy busy at all. Needed an alarm for BMW and looked up New Wave Audio based on reviews. Pulled in a Saturday morning with Paul inside the shop, no customers before or after me. Bought the 2 way alarm and install and came back 2 hrs later with cash and tip. A few weeks later my passenger foot panel fell down and found out that it was not properly placed back and was not screwed in; this was very concerning since the panel needed to be secure for the alarm the feel the vibration/function properly (who knows if someone hit it before fix). Then my headliner starts sagging at top of windshield; I took a look and it's where the wires were tucked under the headliner edge for the transmitter, not carefully. It looked as if they tried to grab the headliner but in fact grabbed the fabric and pulled. Install was ok but attention to details crappy, especially since I paid cash and left tip. Felt like it was a chore for him when in fact it was an easy simple job that I overpaid for. I now have to spend to fix the headliner. Very impressed!! I wanted to get a new CD player installed in my old Mercedes to replace the (non-working) existing unit. The gentleman I spoke to said, as there are some features specific to the Mercedes, I should buy a used working MB replacement unit, and they would install it. I bought a CD player on e-bay and took it in to New Wave on a Saturday. A couple of hours later, the installer called me, and said the CD player I bought did not work. Frustrated, I authorized him to remove it, and assured him I would pay the charge we has agreed on. He called me a couple of hours later, said he had taken apart my original CD player, and fixed it! I could (and did) pick it up shortly. That type of customer service is unusual right now, and they will have my thanks, and my business, in the future. read more

This is a CompuStar authorized dealer. When my keyless remote stopped functioning, I came here to see if I could pay them to program it for me. Rather than program it for me, the man who runs the shop tried to convince me that I needed a new remote ($150.) For his price, he would sell me one for $70 or so (same as ebay) I bought it knowing that I needed my alarm to function. When the battery on my car died some months later, my remote was reset, I came back to see if they can re-program my remote for me. Because I was not there to purchase anything, the man made me wait 7 HOURS just to program my remote! after wasting 7 hours of my life in this shop talking to some lady with a parrot, I finally got them to program my remote for me after bugging them time after time, hour after hour, something that only took them a couple of minutes to do it seemed. Very shady way to treat a former customer in my opinion. read more

I came in looking to install a 12" sub into my Toyota Celica as well as replace a pretty bum stereo/radio. I was looking for a custom job, not just a sub in a box in my trunk and wow did Paul out do himself!!! The work was incredibly professional and everything I could have asked for. Made a side panel so you could see the amp from the outside, and tuned it so I was bumping as soon as I rolled out of the lot! About two weeks later I jump started a friends car, and all of a sudden no sound from the sub, I called Paul he told me to come right on over, in 5 minutes he had replaced the fuse, and had me on my way once more! I got my mom's Toyota tinted here 3 weeks ago. Once again they have done excellent job. Since I got my 1987 integra tinted here, this was only place for me to tint the car windows. I have 2005 sienna tinted here when it was new as on the picture. ( look how pristine it looks compare to one on the left tinted somewhere else) I also have 1996 trooper tinted here back in 1996. There are no fading and no bubbles after 20 years. New Wave Sound is the place to be if you want your tint to last longer than your car. Same location, same owner for last 30 years.
