I was also able to get an eye exam done ($85.00) which was lightning quick. It only took 10-15 minutes to do all the tests and checkups. The optometrist (Dr. Johal) is available for appointments every other Saturday. As for selection, there's all the high end brand names you could want: Ray Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Hugo Boss, etc. If there's something you specifically want that's not on display, Winnie can order it in for you. Her customer service is amazing plus she has a great eye for what frames work well with your face shape. I don't wear glasses much but she was able to find me a pair that I liked (and most importantly, will actually wear). Great service, knowledge and easy payment (billed directly). I'll be back again.

My question is why I not had a complete fundus, 90 D and cycloplegic examination? I realise I went to an optical which is budget conscious, but I would expect an examination which could detect eye health issues if found. My husband has spent over 25 years in eyecare. He is very surprised the optometrist did not perform any of these and as I am over 60, he suspects there may be cataract formation. Whilst performing the slit lamp examination, the optometrist did not even notice I had previous refractive surgery. When the time came for measurements, the optician measured heights and pupillary distance manually. There was no use of pupilometer. When glasses arrived, the lenses on both sets were incorrect. As a result, I had to wait to get them again. I will likely have to undergo another examination to determine my eyes are healthy. I will go to another optometrist to fill that need. I do enjoy my new frames and my vision, but the examination was very subpar. When I picked up my glasses and subsequent sunglasses, there was no fitting. I was simply asked to out them in to check the sight. After going home,my glasses continued to fall off . Now the lens is scratched. If you want an inexpensive pair of glasses then Superstore is a great option. After going to Superstore for an inexpensive option was not worth it for me. I would prefer a proper exam with an Optometrist who is not in a rush and wants their patient to be happy and heard. It was not overly crowded full of people and there were no double bookings etc. Walked in filled out the forms and gave my ID and I was pretty much ready to go. Again, this is my responsibility as I have not followed up with the clinic as prescribed for routine examination, which is all covered by my initial payment. However, this does not inconvenience me in any way. Ironically, the biggest reason I got this done was because I loathed my glasses/goggles fogging up in Lab, especially when wearing a mask. Boy, did I never imagine how relevant that problem would become to daily life!

They told me I had scarred pretty badly and they would do a PTK to remove the scar! I was happy with my eye sight but they were adamant I needed a PTK in which I did in 2023, to which the surgeon did a PTK PRK and astigmatism touch up without my consent! PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYES ! PRK is never permanent your eyes will naturally go back - im now stuck with a 1.50+ over correction in the right eye after I asked this clinic not to fix my vision again and only remove the scar, and they forced me to go back to the same surgeon who already ruined my eye in 2022. Now I need a corneal transplant at 29 years old because their surgeons are incompetent and overall shitty. Please save your health time vision and money and don't be me and make my mistake. I wish I never touched my eyes and now I'm back to glasses after 3 years of surgeries and an even worst scar in my eye that can only be removed with a corneal transplant .
