Of course I noticed…read morethey were not well rated, but when I called they were helpful and had an officer on the scene in 10-15 minutes. The officer who arrived couldn't have been nicer and quickly got my car unlocked. My wife and I appreciated that he was there so quickly (it was very cold that day) and that he was quite nice considering that it might be considered a nuisance call to get a shopper into their own locked car. He accepted our thanks, but would not accept anything more. I'm as jaded as the next person and have experienced uncaring cops from time to time, but these guys were helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you, Officer!

My car ended up impounded, three tickets, and a tow bill. I tried explaining that I was in the hospital for a few months recovering from multiple life threatening stab wounds to my neck and stomach. Classes at my college start in 11 days and I just paid for them and my books. I'm just a broke college student I have no money. I won't be able to recover from this for a while I make $700 a month from 18 hours a week from work. The east fishkill police department is money hungry in my opinion and not looking out for people in situations like me. I could of easily just parked my car at a gas station and had a friend pick me up but they went through the process to impound my vehicle so my life could be harder and they can get more money. I really hope this post opens peoples eyes to how the people who are supposed to protect and serve hurt peoples lives financially without any hesitation. A ticket quota, or training, is obviously way more important than making sure a person has a means of transportation to and from his part time job while he's scraping pennies together to educate him self. I was shocked and dismayed that a police officer would contact me about an online review. I consulted an attorney in my area and was told it is perfectly legal for anyone to write a nonviolent and truthful review online.  Reviews are protected under the First Amendment. I did file a written complaint with the New York State Police regarding the harassing phone calls I received from this police officer.
