I'm experiencing tooth pain again only 2 months after receiving treatment from them, which raises concerns about the quality. I brush twice a day and floss daily, so it's not a hygiene issue on my end. Cost: I had three composite fillings and ended up paying $253 out of pocket, while my insurance covered $701. That's a steep total, especially considering the results. Now I want to go in for a cleaning and check-up, but they told me I'd have to pay entirely out of pocket because my insurance benefits are maxed out. I've never had this issue with my previous dentist, even with similar treatments. I only chose this office because I recently moved, but I'll probably go back to my old dentist--even if it's a long drive. It's just not worth the cost and uncertainty here.

Kaiser offers dental via Delta Care USA as part of my package plan. Saw my regular dentist for cleaning in 2025, no issues. Waited 5 months and decided to try the Kaiser plan dentist. Was assigned to this office. They had no openings for three months, but took the appointment anyway. They did numerous x-rays, more than I ever had experienced. Felt like they were trying to find something wrong with me. The dentist comes in looks in my mouth for about 8 seconds and then says I need deep cleaning and a cap that never gave me any problems removed and redone. He said a gap between that tooth and another would cause me to eventually cause a root canal. I did not agree. I knew I did not need deep cleaning or a cap removed and redone. I asked to just have my teeth cleaned. He refused to clean my teeth unless I agreed to deep cleaning and a new cap. I got up off the chair and left. Set up an appointment with my old dentist. My regular dentist cleaned my teeth, x-rayed the tooth that so called needed a new cap and found no problems. No deep cleaning needed. Obviously to me he was trying to drum up extra income for himself. Then weeks later his office staff calls to ask when would I like to have my cap redone. Unbelievable! I am reporting him to Kaiser Delta Care USA. Beware!

From the moment I walked in, the experience was completely different from any dental visit I'd had before. X-rays revealed that not only was my chipped tooth an issue, but another tooth--completely painless--was actually in worse shape. Dr. Nguyen explained everything clearly, including the surgical procedure on my gums, the crowns needed, and my payment portion. We got started right away. In total: First crown was completed quickly and with minimal pain. A second visit followed the next week for the other side. Then, I came in for crown fittings--both were matched perfectly to my natural teeth (I'm a smoker, so this is no small feat). He warned me there was a 50/50 chance of needing a root canal, but he managed to save the tooth without it. I really appreciated his honest approach. I was so impressed that I told everyone I knew about this place. Fast forward 7 months--an old root canal from a previous dentist cracked at the gum line. I booked again, and Dr. Nguyen found the neighboring tooth was the real issue, requiring two crowns. The plan was clear, and again the goal was to save the tooth. He did just that. On the Monday two weeks later, the final crowns were placed. They were flawless--same color, great shape, totally natural. I can't forget Annie, his assistant, who's equally amazing. She made me feel at ease, chatting about her workouts and her kids. I even received text reminders over the weekend for my Monday appointments. They really go the extra mile. This is an office that cares about their patients, and it shows in every detail. I'm thrilled to have found my new dental home. Next up: routine check-up in 6 months!

So pretty much the appointment I had set with them means nothing and pretty much there's no doctor available.
