He accommodated all of our requests and was so great to work with. Most importantly, the food was amazing! We had several guests help themselves to seconds AND thirds! I reached out to Edward through his website and he responded in a very reasonable amount of time. We set up a time and date for tasting and he was very accommodating to our schedule. At the tasting he was welcoming and very laid back, no pressure at all and conversed with us while we tasted the chicken, London Broil and Potatoes. His prices are very reasonable. I did not however decide to use his service after i went home feeling un easy that we only got to taste 3 items off the menu. #3 London Broil & Chicken Juicy Marinated London Broil Lemon & Herb Chicken Mashed Potatoes & Gravy Steamed Broccoli With Creamy Cheese Sauce Fresh Tossed Green Salad with Dressings Three Cheese Pasta Salad Vegetable Tray Garlic Bread I emailed him and asked him about the ingredients in the other items and to be honest they seemed a little bland. Great service, great food. Ed has catered our annual Christmas family gatherings for several years now and does a super job. He offers a variety of selections from his menu to help accommodate the many preferences of our large family that range in age from young toddlers to Tweens and teens to senior adults. The food is good and well prepared. His price point is very reasonable particularly for the portion size, which I think is pretty generous. He does all the set up including place settings and clean up. We would highly recommend New York Catering to anyone looking for this service at a reasonable price. We had Dad's memorial catered by New York catering. The head caterer was a jerk throughout. We ordered food for 140 people and I brought desserts from Costco. He was upset and asked me where I thought I would put them (on a table I set up with a tablecloth I provided), who did I think would cut them (me or another family member but he ended up taking care of it), did I remember dessert plates (no) knives (yes), At 3:50, when our event was supposed to go until 5 he started yelling about needing to put the food away (while I was talking to guests) and did put the food away so our guests started to leave, His attitude was out of line and inappropriate. The venue was not owned or operated by them so there was no exclusivity issue. I could understand he was upset tI forgot dessert plates, I was upset about it to, but he could have, and should have, been much more professional. read more

Ed did our catering this past weekend for our wedding. Ed was very easy to work with and accommodating. The food was so reasonable and very delicious! Ed was there early to set up at the venue and had food ready like 30 minutes after the ceremony. After we were done eating, he cleaned up and packed up the food. Amazing....my daughters wedding was catered by this team yesterday. I cannot believe what an excellent spread that they put together. The comments from our guests were off the charts to the positive. The chicken Parmesan was outstanding, tender and cooked and seasoned to perfection. The fettuccine was great, needed some S and P but was wonderful. Now, the potato salad, flat out the best that I have ever eaten. It was a little different than what I would traditionally have but was delicious. We also had a beautiful Caesar salad, steamed vegetables, and a nice veggie tray. Everything was fresh and presented perfectly. The topper was that the price was very reasonable, even more so considering the quality and overall presentation. Two thumbs way up!! read more

After getting quotes from several catering companies, we decided to use new york catering company for our September 2013 wedding and was extremely impressed. They have many very affordable menu options and all of the food options we tried were amazing! They provided horderves, entrees and sides, and drinks for our wedding. Unlike other caterers, what you see is what you get! The price for each dinner option includes service and anything needed to serve/eat with. What a relief it was to find an affordable caterer with great quality of food and service. They were timely and professional the day of and worked with me continuously to make sure everything went smoothly on our special day. New York Catering went out of their way to make our day amazing! I received a referral to NY Catering from a friend. I was immediately blown away by his pricing! So we went in for a tasting for our wedding menu. It was great, he made us a full course meal at our own private table with a candle lit. He let us enjoy our meal and the food was fabulous. During our wedding the staff was well dressed, fast and again the food was great! Ed worked with what we wanted to see on our menu and again his price was awesome! We saved about $15 per person compared to most catering companies out of Seattle and the eastside. He also didn't charge us a delivery fee and was able to do last minute headcounts! We chose Ed's catering banquet room in Enumclaw for our Rehearsal dinner on 12/12/14. The food is amazing! I got better reviews for their food then the food at our actual wedding. I should have used him for all of it! He is very affordable for what he offers. He is an amazing chef, professional and courteous. The menu we chose was above and beyond what was expected. Even the most mundane of salads was eloquently prepared and presented. I will use him again and again! Highly recommended!!! read more
