Nina Shishkina is the worst person to work with. I've went to her studio on the 8th of September and requested a sample for an embroidery patch sample and for woven tags. Today is the 23rd of September and nothing has been produced. She's telling me that there is a production problem. How can it be a production problem when it's only a sample. She's very unprofessional and I advise anyone who what's professionalism to run the opposite direction from NINA cause she is not. read more

I went here, (unfortunately), for one of the most simplest tasks this establishment can service. Half of the order was correct and the other half was notably sloppy. To correct their mistakes, they stated that they would redo the half that was sloppy. But the sloppy half took four months and nine trips to this establishment for them to get it right. I believe the representative was to blame. Her name is Danielle and she did not take notes on the initial order nor each time I returned for them to correct the errors. She is delusional to believe she can remember every specific note for your order by memory without even taking your company name or contact information. This delusion was proven by how many times their attempts to correct this were futile. read more

Unfortunately, only 4 stars to the quality of the product produced. The 1st round of protos came out substandard. Working within the industry, there is a level of quality expected on a first proto, and NY Embroidery did not meet this. TERRIBLE place of business. Poor customer service, and unreliable. I had originally hired New York Embroidery Studios to embroider some fabric needed for an important work function. A date to deliver all materials was set and agreed upon in person. However, NY Embroidery Studios never provided me with any paperwork to document this transaction. They told me I could pay when I picked up my fabric. In retrospect it was my fault for trusting them because on the day my fabric was due, they told me my job wasn't ready, and there was nothing they could do about it, they're sorry. I reminded the associate that we had an agreement in place, in which they responded saying there was nothing to prove or document this agreement. Additionally, my experience with the associate on the phone was terrible. She was rude, and unprofessional during the entire conversation. I sincerely think they forgot about the date, and tried to cover it up saying they never agreed to this and it wasn't written anywhere. I wound up missing my work deadline because of this. Never in my life was I treated with such disrespect from a place of business, and I will never recommend this company to anyone. The customer is always WRONG according to NY Embroidery Studios! I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. There are many other qualified shops in NYC. read more

My previous experience was great with them (only one or two days of delay for production) - last job I worked with them was 3 years ago. I went back 3 weeks ago and my old contact was gone. I start working with new girl. Totally unprofessional. They have no idea what they are doing. Supposedly 4 hour job last three days to do (unless they were lying that they were working on it) Worst at follow up so I had to call them or email them several times to get any answer which they claim that it delays their work. If they cannot handle all the job they took because it was fashion week and super busy, they shouldn't have taken the project. They are way over their head. 2yds of quilted fabric was delayed one week since they didn't calculate that they were going to be so busy due to fashion week. (Who knew?) They need old manager back and start teaching all the young girls not to lie and give lame excuses. read more

This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. Not only did they do a shitty job on the embroidery, they messed up on multiple shirts of mine and refused to do anything at all to rectify the situation, leaving me with damaged shirts that I still had to pay full price for. They also take DAYS OR WEEKS to get back to you and are conveniently never there when you call. They also sent my very large shipment to the wrong address and I was left to ship it to the correct address myself, a very expensive and annoying task when it involved 4 HEAVY boxes. Never again will I use these people. What a rip off/scam. Absolutely horrified with them. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY OF YOUR EMBROIDERY NEEDS. Terrible terrible. read more

My experience working with them was one of the most stressful experiences I have had in all my professional years. I had met with one of there sales associates and was told that they would be able to complete a time sensitive job for me. A week following my meeting, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of the person I had initially met with and I was passed on to someone else. She claimed to be the business owner but her demeanor was rude, childish and very unprofessional. Because of my lack of options due to time constraint I had to deal with them and have them complete the job. The sample that was initially shown to me was nice but the work following that was sloppy and rushed. I was charged a tremendous amount for amateur work and had to complete most of the job myself. The experience was one I would very much like to put behind me and forget.. I am sorry I did not read the reviews before I called them. I am a kind and non confrontational person and am very pleasant to deal with and not usually the person that writes reviews. I really don't want anyone to go through the emotional stress that I did. read more
