My experience has been they are more interested in selling blinds than providing service. I have found it very difficult to get out of warranty repairs. Hunter Douglas and their dealers just point you to each other. It's been 6 months and now the technician is saying it cannot be repaired on site. On a warranty repair I had a motor fail in the first 14 months. They are sending a new motor to the dealer and then I have to pay to have it repaired. This is the 3rd motor I have had go bad. I spent approx. $30k at Hunter douglas between the two homes. I will use another company to replace the blinds rather than deal with them again.
