I worked principally with Keichelle, but also with Myra…read more First, some background - I was planning my boyfriend's 50th birthday surprise party, and called Aarym at the relative last minute - Thursday before a Saturday party. I called because I needed a dj (the one I had planned for backed out on me at the last minute!), but because Keichelle was so nice, and accomodating, I wound up requesting their help with decorations, and logistics (in addition to the dj). At an amazing price! I can't emphasize enough how they came in and saved my butt and my party and my psyche. It had been a really difficult week, and I am not very inclined toward decorating anyway, so making the call, and being connected to such willing, energetic and talented people was the best thing I did. Keichelle was easy to talk to - she made lots of suggestions - which I needed, but if you are a more directed person (i.e, know what you want, but need logistical help, I have the impression, they would be great with that too). In a matter of hours, she had developed a plan, and promised to get started getting supplies, and speaking with the people at the venue which I had booked (without getting a cent from me!). At the same time, she also coordinated with the dj (DJ Bruce) with whom they work and passed along a huge list of artists and songs I knew my bf wanted to hear. The next day I arranged to make the deposit, met her in person, and she and Myra had mapped out a plan to get the place decorated, and asked me for some final input. She took my sometimes stream of consciousness suggestions and made them into concrete ideas - as one example - I had said purple balloons, because my boyfriend is crazy about purple, and she proposed, in addition to the balloons, paper lanterns to decorate the place. They offered to pick up my cake as well, and take it to the venue, and to coordinate with my guests before the birthday boy arrived. By the time my guests got there, the spot in my venue reserved for the party had been transformed - and the guests noticed, and my bf and his family did as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I don't agree with a few pics showing ragged chairs , the tables and chairs were new and solid looking from our experience. Why has Big Dawg Party Rental received no negative reviews since 2020? Is it because they provide…read moreimpeccable service? Or is it because they've added a clause to their contract that prohibits customers from leaving negative reviews online--even if those reviews are merited? Here's the clause in question, as it appeared in a contract they sent me in February: "The Client on behalf of itself, any of its respective agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, officers, key employees, or directors, shall not in any way publicly disparage, call into disrepute, defame, slander or otherwise criticize BDPR or its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, officers, key employees, or directors or take any action which could reasonably be expected to adversely affect BDPR's professional reputation. This includes any oral or written statements, such as online reviews." I was pretty surprised when I read this. Does this company actually pursue legal action against customers who leave negative reviews? I called company employee Christina to discuss and she was derisive and rude in response. But she did make one point clear: "Yes we have gone after people for writing negative Yelp reviews," she said. And that's a direct quote -- I wrote it down at the time. If Big Dawg Party Rental had confidence in the quality of their work, why would they seek to stifle negative reviews? Knowing that they do, how can you trust that the online ratings you see here accurately reflect the average service they provide? Those questions were reason enough for me to find another local rental company, which provided excellent service for the same price--with no non-disparagement clause in their contract.
