Terrible, I went in asking for a simple color change and my nail tech continued to be confused. After attempting to explain to her what I wanted the best I could she acted as if I was wrong, and proceeded to talk to her coworkers and again try to tell me I'm wrong for what I wanted. I started going here to get my nails done... they pressured me into gel polish (cost $15 xtra) 3 days later the polish was chipped... when I went back to get them filled I refused the gel Polish and the tech got really mad and said that I went to a different nail salon ... ummmm ... so needless to say that was my last time there. Probably the worst experience I've ever had with a nail salon. I went in and before he started to do my nails I wanted to confirm that he could do the design that I wanted and what the cost would be. He said he could and gave me a price. He went on cut my nails too short and made me bleed, and continued to file the sides and also made me bleed two more times, then proceeded to blame me for having sensitive nails. When it came to the design he was IN THE MIDDLE of do the design when all of a sudden he said he couldn't do the design he previously said that he could and now my nails were half painted. Instead of trying to fix them, he left them how they were. At the end, he proceeded to charge me $20 more than he previously said. I will never come back here again. read more

Then the woman started my nails walked away 16min later she came back , then started texting. Are you serious? My nails were supposed to be purple French tips. The woman painted the full nails whatever.. she's sloppy and in a rush. The first 3 nails came right off and the polish was so thick 3hrs later still tacky. Paid $50 for dip nails and manicure. They should've lasted 3-4 weeks. In 3 days my nails started to lift. Went in and instead of removing them and starting over the technician attempted to repair them. They were thick and awful. I was so disappointed. Within a week they again started to lift. Was super excited to try a new nail place since moving to the area; even took my 5 year old for her first visit...wish I could say I enjoyed it. Though the employees seemed to be nice they were very pushy about upgrading our polish to gel which was almost $10 more and for a 5 year old not important. I considered it for myself but then thought I'd hold off until my next visit which would be after two business trips I have in next two weeks. Glad I did because the guy rushed through my pedicure, left paint on skin in some areas which I asked to be taken off, smudged one of my nails and wasn't going to fix it...I had to ask him! When I went to check out I quickly learned they were charging me for two pedi's and mani's but I argued because for my daughter she didn't get a real pedi and they only painted her finger nails...again no real mani either. They did not budge much on the cost at all which I felt is ridiculous to charge that amount for fingers so small. They wouldn't even paint her nails with the polish she wanted because her nails where two small and it'd take more than two quotes for the glitter to be noticeable. Needless to say my daughter didn't really enjoy her experience either. Looks like we'll keep searching for a salon. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. If you have a fairly steady hand and a pumice stone you're better off doing the job yourself! read more

Worst pedicure ever. I took my 7 year old because she had been begging to get one in the teddy chair. We waited for an hour after being told 15 minutes. My water was ice cold. They leftbus sit another 30 minutes and a guy chise to do my daughter's nails first which I was fine with, but the boss told him he needed to do mine first. He threw a temper tantrum and dumped cold alcohol on my feet, painted my nails sloppy, and said I was done. The lady that did my daughter's nails did an ok job and spent about 10 minutes or so pampering her. Overall terrible experience and I would never go back. read more

Worst mani/pedi I ever had. They barely clean and clip. I went in with my future step daughter so we could enjoy getting our toes and nails done together. She is 8. They separated us even though they could have easily respected my numerous requests to sit near each other. We have gone to other salons that accommodated this request, but this place made it seem like a huge hassle. Since she was done first, they let a child sit alone near a mall entrance while I continually turned to check on her. read more

I came here on June 19th 2015 to get my nails done for my daughters wedding. I have a broken ankle and just had surgery on it 3 days prior to my visit here. The pedicure was first and since I was only getting one foot done due to the other one being in a cast I thought maybe they would cut me a little break in the price but instead I was charged EXTRA!!! He said I was being charged more because it was special treatment??? I thought he was joking but I was wrong. The one girl I was with had the same exact thing done that I did only she had both feet done. They charged her 32.00 and charged me 52.00 and did a horrible job!! I got the French tips and they were crooked and he left paint on my skin!! I was charged 20.00 more because my one foot was in a cast. He then proceeded to sit me at the nail table where I sat for at least 20 minutes before I spoke up and asked if he was going to do my manicure. He said he was busy doing other pedicures so he sent me to another lady to do my manicure after I paid him the 52.00 plus a 10.00 tip for my foot and hands. The lady did my manicure in ten minutes or less (so you can imagine what kind of a job she did) and charged me another 35.00. I told her I already tipped the man for my hands and feet and she said I needed to get it from him for her??? I told her it was partially her tip and if she wanted it she needed to get it from him. I have never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon in my life and needless to say I will never go back!! I paid a total of 97.00 to get my hands and 1 foot done and they were NOT done properly. It sickens me to know they can get away with stuff like this! I was at the mall with My baby, and he fell asleep.. so I took advantage and decided to get a pedicure. Well.. April at New York nails in the beaver valley mall mom shamed me the entire time I was in there. I was told I was a bad mom for taking my child into a nail salon, and in my profession I should know better. And someone that stays at home with their kids let themselves go, and are weird. terrible !!!!! i received an infection after getting a pedicure for my birthday. went to med express ended up having to take antibiotics i confronted the manager and he swore up and down the infection didn't come from his shop. he told me i wore high heeled shoes (which i dont) and told me it was a splinter (i don't have wooden floors) i showed him my papers from med express and the antibiotics i was put on and he refused to reimburse me !!! horrible management i would never recommend this place to anyone ever again !!!!!!!!! learn how to take blame for something you or your employers have done !!! i now have a hate for this place simply because of what happened and how it was handled !!!! i hope this place shuts down like the rest of the stores in the mall !!!! if i were you i would never step foot in this establishment !!! read more

I will be looking for another salon for pedicures. This was the only place that I would ever go to, but today was the worst experience I have ever had with them. It has gone down hill drastically since they opened. They are rude. The water today was soo hot that I could not keep my feet it in and they turned red. We sat there for 30 min before someone came over to start our pedicures. Tony, who did my pedicure today, was rude.
