Did you guys know that laying pavers is its own specialty work? Well, I sure didn't. So, by the time Ahmed came to pay me a visit, I was nearly in tears, after I had not one, but TWO different guys completely muff up the job, leaving me with a total mess of an incomplete project. Totally discouraged, I called NYP and spoke to Fiaz - - what a helpful and pleasant phone manner. He put me at ease right away and within 15 minutes (!), he had Ahmed come over to see how they could help. Ahmed was very kind, breaking the bad news to me gently. Nothing was salvageable and the entire area had to be ripped out and redone properly. I was concerned at that point, having already sunk money into the existing disaster and not knowing I could afford to have them finish the job correctly. We originally had astroturf on a very uneven yard with contractor shrubs that we didn't like (and were also spaced unevenly). We worked with NY Pavers to put pavers in our patio and also level the ground so puddles wouldn't form. We asked for quotes from two other companies, and Ahmed's quote was right on par with the other two. Ahmed and NY Pavers helped me fix my backyard May 2022. I wanted to wait 8 month to write my review so I can report on the condition of my pavers after they had weathered the elements for a few months. I'm happy to report that my pavers look as perfect today as they did 8 months ago. No loose pavers, no cracking, no chipping, no weeds in the joints and no discoloration. I'm a first-time home buyer and didn't know much about pavers, and Ahmed was the perfect person to work with me. He showed up on time, gave me options and let me know the entire process from ordering the pavers, installation and initial maintenance. You will not find another person in the NYC tri-state area who is more passionate about pavers than Ahmed! The job was supposed to take 3 days to complete, but the original plan to have the pavers delivered to the front of my house didn't work out. Fiaz, promised over the phone to come to see masonry job and give quote, but never showed up nor called me to lmk. Made me waste my day waiting for him. I found out through a 3rd person who knows the owner personally that he wasn't interested in my little brickwork job because it was too small and he wouldn't make a lot of money as he would working on huge building jobs where he can bilk hundreds of thousands out of the project and cash in big-time. My small brickwork job and I were not worth his time, I was told, that's why he never showed up as he said he would on a specific day and at a set time. A representative, Ahmed, called back the same day and came out the next day. He arrived on time and showed us on his ipad, in color, the various brick and stone designs, describing in detail the ones in which we showed interest. We hired New York Pavers to repave both our driveway, and then a couple of years later our back patio. Both experiences were great -- they are responsive, professional, and fast, while delivering great work. With our driveway, we had an issue where one section created a large puddle every time it rained. The guys came back to fix that area, removing the pavers and regrading that spot, at no extra cost. Really wonderful service! Both the driveway and the patio look great, and the driveway has held up very nicely over the past 2+ years (the patio is much newer). The one thing is that I wish I'd asked them to cover the exterior wall of our house with some kind of tarp, as the cement from the driveway job splattered on our siding while they were working. Aside from that one tiny thing, I could not be happier with the quality of the service they provided. Would definitely hire them again for future work (and I did!). read more

It rained the day they were scheduled to do the work on a Saturday, he called prior to and scheduled for the following day on Sunday, and his men do not work on Sunday's. He said he would get it done and he is true to his word. His team was very professional, quick, hard working they cleaned up the mess outside and took a broom and swept up inside the house.
