What a nightmare my family and I had !! Price quoted was NOT what he wanted us to pay after the ride !! They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the park My driver was verbally abusive to horse draw carriage driver for absolutely no reason He stunk as though he hadn't showered in days We didn't even want to ride but he became extremely aggressive I was frightened to say no read more

Loved the pedicab ride! A relaxing way to explore the city streets and learn fun facts from the guide. I was so tired I couldn't walk another 20 minutes to Times Square, so the ride was really useful. Make sure to ask around for prices because it varies from driver to driver. read more

Gave these guys a call for Valentine's Day on short notice. They were great from the word go. They got back with us with a reasonable price and our driver Seyithan was here a few minutes early. He let us know he was here and told us he was in no rush that he was ready when we were. He was super friendly and we had a great trip. Will definitely use them again next time in town. read more

Dangerous drivers with no regard to pedestrian safety. Aggressively solicit fares. Avoid!

It was a scam. We rode in one today. Maybe a mile from 42 St. to 31 St. The fee was $84 (7 x 12 minutes). And since it was raining, the guy said we had to pay double for two. We got into the argument. Then he showed us the price card. But the card sa he couldn't charge us more than $7 per minute. If he showed us before the ride, we would never do it. Lesson learned. Don't trust anyone in NYC. read more

perfect experience! Alex was super informative and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone

I booked the 90 minute central park tour via the website as I thought it looked like a good deal. I was right, it was excellent. Our guide was Kenny and he was awesome. He showed up on time exactly where our tickets stated to meet, and we immediately got in the pedicab and were on our way. He showed us all the stops promised and had several pictures to show as well. Would highly recommend. Thanks Kenny for making our Christmas morning in Central Park unforgettable! read more

Some friends of ours went to New York last year and recommended New York Pedicab Services to us. We requested Kenny and were not disappointed! We were leary of the many pedicabs on NYC so we called one approved by TripAdvisor. Great choice! Dependable. Professional. Accommodating. And if your really lucky you might get Kate as your driver. Great 2 hour tour of Central Park at dusk. Go and enjoy with this well recommended pedicab tour company... Certainly our recommendation (and probably a few hundred others). read more

My husband and I were leaving the Empire state building waiting for a lyft, that would have costed us 4 bucks. A man approached us from pedicab and offered to take us. We were never told the cost, and my husband thought it would be romantic. Little did we know that when we arrived to our stop we owed 100 bucks! Unbelieveable..we were completely mislead and taken for suckers! DO NOT TAKE RIDES FROM THESE PEOPLE!! 12/1/2019 Sue read more

We used a pedicab upon exiting a play in Manhattan for the 8 block ride back to our hotel. Quoted $4 per minute and "I ride fast". I knew we were being taken when he went an additional 6 blocks and made certain we waited at many a red light. Demanded $80+ dollars when we got to the hotel 22 minutes later. Denied "padding" the ride. Said his name was Ralph and from Turkey, each of which I doubt. As he was considerably bigger than me I paid $80 (conveniently parked away from the doorman around the corner). Another friend confirmed a $40+ ride for the same distance from the theater. If we had used a NY taxi the cost would have been around $12. Ripoff artists and in full force at the theater exits. Beware and avoid at all costs!!! read more

We booked them for an 80 minute Central Park tour. Kate was our guide and she was amazing!! She was knowledgeable and so kind. The tour stopped at all the hotspots of Central Park. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have picked a better tour guide for us. If you get a chance to choose your guide, choose Kate!! read more

After seeing Aladdin on Broadway my boyfriend and I took a pedicab to the Empire State Building and I felt like a princess! It was nice to cruise along the cars at night and see everything lit up while we snuggled. We were lost in our own world for the 10 minutes it took to arrive to our destination. I can't speak on the price, but it's per minute and it must have been expensive because my boyfriend refused to tell me how much it was lol. Overall, pedicabs are a nice experience and it's great to try something new at least just once. read more

What a steal!! Half the price of anyone else and our experience was OUTSTANDING! Do yourself a favor and request KENNY. Dude was amazingly informative for our tour of Central Park. Gave celebrity experiences and information, history of the park, and architectural info of buildings all around the skyline. Really funny and charming guy who kills at his job! Really went above and beyond and made our trip very memorable! read more

I'm not going to lie. I'm a complete out of towner when it comes to New York. I had never, ever been in any city as long as this place at all. Sure, I've been to Indianapolis, I've drove through Chicago, and been to other places. I like to travel. But this service really takes the cake. Friendly, and engaging they really helped me be at ease on my trip, talking to me not just like a customer, but also as a person. They talked to me about a lot of the local hot spots in the city friendly to sight seers and tourists, some bit of news, where to avoid going, interesting Broadway plays that were playing, etc. Just really knowledgeable about things that put me at ease and made my trip less scary, and way more enjoyable. I enjoyed my time being shown the city that I just had to tip, because it just seemed they were so enjoying their job that it was infectious. I wish I had something like this in my home city, because it just really spoiled me. I really commend them for a good job, and spoiling an already spoiled tourist. read more

Total rip off!! Don't do it! I have used Pedi Cabs all over the US, the prices are outrageous $6.99 an minute! Again don't do it!

DO NOT GET IN ONE OF THESE PEDICABS until you clearly understand what you clearly understand what your charges will be and if a 20% tip will automatically be added to the bill. If at the end of the ride you feel the charges are ridiculous do not sign anything. Find a policeman and as for assistance to resolve the matter I sent this email to New York Pedicab Services and received no response and my credit card company, Citibank, just advised me I did not have enough facts to dispute even the unauthorized tip. To: New York Pedicab Services info@newyorkpedicabservices.com Subject: Excessive charges; New York City Administrative Code Violations I am disputing the amount of this charge. Last Friday, 11-15-19, my wife and I were in the process of hailing a cab at Grand Central Terminal to take us to Penn Station (approximately 1 mile). A pedicab rolled up and offered his services. Never having taking this transportation and knowing we were only a short distance from Penn Station we agreed. The ride was about 20 minutes. We were presented with a charge of $153, or $156 and change (we were not provided a receipt). I protested the charge whereupon the driver produced a postcard sized document showing the rate was $6.99 per minute. I protested again but the driver told me to ask another pedicab driver regarding the rate. I chose not to ask another driver instead I signed his i-phone, (which showed a charge of $153 or $156 and change) knowing I would dispute the charge through my credit card company not on the street. After arriving home I went to these websites to learn more: https://www.nycpedicabs.com/p/new-york-pedicab-rates.html; https://newyorkpedicabservices.com/pedicab-passenger-resources.html. Among the violations we experienced on this pedicab: New York City Administrative Code Section 20-254 (12); New York City Administrative Code Section 20-254 (13); New York City Administrative Code Section 20-254 (14); New York City Administrative Code Section 20-254 (15); New York City Administrative Code Section 20-260 (c) (1). Finally, adding charges which were not disclosed, nor authorized the bill on my card showed a charge $184.80. On top of the ridiculous charge for a 20 minute bicycle ride an unauthorized tip of $ 30.80 was added to the amount shown to me and the end of the ride. read more

We took a pedicab for the first time today after the NYC marathon. He drove us 6 blocks and charged us $100. We barely had that amount of cash on us. He told us his rates were on the side of the cab.
