Pedicab well maintained, clean and has canopy. Beautiful park for walking, cycling or taking rickshaw. Approximately 843 acres. Very safe, a lot of sightseeing. Restrooms and water fountains located all around Central Park, very useful. Stop couple times to explore landmarks on foot. Separate lines for cycles. There are different areas such as Cherry Hill, Hans Christian Anderson statue, Great Lawn, Cleopatra's Needle, Shakespeare Garden, Dakota building. He customized our tour asking us if we've already seen certain things. He played music at times that went with whatever theme or movie scene we were looking at. We met Steve at 10 am on Saturday morning at the meeting point and he greeted us with a lovely warm welcome to New York. We took a short walk to his pedicab then set off. Steve took his time pointing out various attractions and telling us history and showing us photos about features in Upper East Side of Central Park first as we rode around. He stopped regularly for us to take photos. He stopped at the top of The Bethesda Fountain and told us we could walk down and look at the angel and then walk under the steps taking in the amazing Minton Tiles at Bethesda Terrace. He said we would then come out by The Mall. Then proceeded to visit Cherry Hill where we took in the views of lake & Bow Bridge. He then stopped at Strawberry Fields taking photos of my sister and I for us and when we got back into the pedicab he took us across road to The Dakota Building and stopped right next to the sidewalk where Jon Lennon was shot. He then rode back into the park & showed us The Tavern on The Green and the west side before taking us back to our starting point. We did the Gossip Girls tour and it was the highlight of our ten day trip for my 15 year old daughter. The guide was very knowledgeable not only about the city but also about the details of the show. He had pictures from the show of different scenes st different locations. He even had theme specific music. We went on a very cold day 20 degrees and he had a heated seat and a large blanket. This was such a great decision by my wife and I. We've been coming to New York for years but had never been through Central Park.
