We used Yellow Cab on the way home from the bar. Driver was super fun and conversational. He even gave us a free stop at the gas station to grab a few more booze for the evening. It was a great experience and we will defiantly be using NYC again! Oh and being picked up in Beamer and riding home in style wasn't so bad either! read more

I am not one to write reviews, but my experience with Newark Yellow Cab was far from pleasant. I called a hour in advance to get a cab. While on the phone, I started to explain that it would be better to park at the business across from my house, but I was cut off by the dispatcher asking for my address. I obliged and tried to explain one last time about parking. Unacknowledged but I just say whatever to myself at this point. A hour later rolls around and no cab, so I, the customer, call to verify what is going on. The operator explains that it will be some time but unable to give an approximate time of arrival. The operator suggests that I contact another cab service, so I ask who they recommend. The operator laughs and states that they are the only cab service in the area. The driver supposedly arrived a hour later than originally discussed but was unable to use my driveway. Avoid Newark Yellow Cab, if possible. Licking County transit may be a better way to go, or maybe entrepreneurial ventures may be beneficial for somebody willing to make a difference. read more

In order to use the fire pit, you must purchase their fire wood which is inconvenient as well. They have a hidden fee for cleaning your cabin if you don't sweep the floor before you leave. They have a swimming pool which is smaller but we still enjoyed it. The office's hours are 10-7, which sucked for our attempt at an early checkout and on the road. The kitchen was closed our entire stay so we weren't able to order food here. We liked the cornhole which was next to our cabin. Another note is that the WiFi is absolutely terrible and will drop your devices constantly and only operates at 2G. The driveway up to the KOA also is super hard on your vehicle. This campground was close enough to hikes at Hocking Hills but we probably wouldn't stay ever again.

Now we were asked to meet family there again this summer and hoping they updated their beds to the size they claim so I email to ask- they email me back to say the beds are same and they are "industry size". They are FULLS and we have video and pics to prove it. I have been manipulated and should have demanded atleast a partial refund after our visit (having read up on the law and what it means them lying about size of beds). The beds in the cabins aren't queens like advertised. Beware! And contact me if you noticed this too.
