Well they want payment upfront, which I thought there was some kind of meter in a taxi. Maybe that's old school? I don't know. This isn't Uber or Lyft. How would you know how much before the trip. I explained the situation to the driver and he said it would be fine, that I would remain in the car until someone came out to pay. He even called me back to confirm that I explained the process to my dad which I confirmed that I did. When the driver pulled up and saw me, he immediately changed his mind, told me not to get in and refused the ride. I understand that it's not the usual policy to receive payment at the destination, but they had suggested the alternative way then completely flipped the script and with the attitude of someone who had been wronged. I can only speculate there's an anti-African American bias at play as we had spoke on the phone twice before his arrival and he had agreed to the alternative that he himself suggested. But upon seeing me immediately changed his mind. He was actually charging double of what it would normally cost. We were willing to pay it. He took the job and then upon seeing me became very abrasive argumentative and disrespectful. If you don't respect the population that you make money from, you don't deserve our money. Do not use this company.

There was a blue flashing light under the driver seat. He was driving recklessly as well slamming The breaks to not hit the veichle in front of us. The noise the car made was very loud. I was Nauseous with a migraine and my heart was pounding When we arrived back home I contacted a Lyft about this ride. Customer support told me I'd be 100% refunded since my safety was jeopardized. Then the guy said he can't do that. I can only receive credits to use on my next ride of equal or lesser value within 60days. I told him Lyft isn't common in my rural town and I won't be able to use it within that time frame. He said he wants to give me compensation but that's all he can do. Then he discounted the chat. I never received the credits, email of entire chat, nor can I go back into the app to find it under my account

The driver was very courteous and was very thoughtful. He was also excellent getting to and from my various stops and destinations -- very attentive without being intrusive. The car was very clean and well appointed. The driver picked me up from the restaurant (there was valet only parking) and it was very easy -- the driver even knew some of the valet attendants, and was able to get in right away!
