It's not a terrible drive from Fort Mill, SC, about 45 minute on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to park right in front of the Venue and my ticket was waiting at will call. A smooth and easy check-in and I was able to talk to Todd before the show. I've seen him several times when he collaborates with other musicians but this was the first time solo. He played a mix of originals and covers. After several songs others joined him for several songs. They were all great on a Dave Mason original, Feelin Alright. Many know the song from the Joe Cocker cover. The band was great, Todd with some great guitar licks and a lead riff, the bass player was laying the line, the drummer on time and the keyboard player, Bazz The GranDude, with a nice mini-solo. Very impressed with the lady on the mixing board. She was out front on her iPad and got the vocal & instrument mix solid. It was a fun time and I hope to return before the summers done.

I would drive 5.5 hours just to come to this place. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, just like good ole bluegrass and Gospel should be. We specifically purchased these bags to meet their stated policy, yet he insisted they were too large and initially told us we would not be allowed entry. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way it was handled. Even after we showed him the venue's own specifications proving the bags were permitted, he refused to acknowledge the mistake and continued to treat us disrespectfully. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, he chose to double down and create an unnecessarily hostile experience. As you can see in the images, it fits their criteria. Because of this interaction alone, I will not attend another event at this location.

I guess some men don't understand that women's clothing isn't always made with pockets and we have something called a menstrual cycle, so it may not be so simple to "figure it out". Apparently they have a new menu, and there were lots of great things to choose from. Burgers, wings, steak, wraps, millions of appetizers, and yummy salads. I had the steak and it was very good. I got the potato wedges (can't think of their name) and they were extra yummy. My salad was full of cheese, bacon bits, all the usual stuff and croutons. The best part of all of this was the price. The prices are some of the lowest around. And I thought the food was good. It was karaoke night. Some people.... not so good. But the music was good. If I'm ever back in the area, we will definitely cone back. Good food, atmosphere, drinks, service, and prices. Highly recommend.
