Since I had weak coffee Sunday morning at the W - I still craved something stronger. We had gotten out on the road for our tour of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. When I mentioned my caffeine craving - our guide suggested we stop at Newberry's. I agreed. I was somewhat dismayed when we walked in - powdered creamer! Yuck! But hey - some time you go with what is available. In the end, it did not turn out as bad as I thought it might. The coffee was strong and tasty. As Tiffany C. stated in her review - the gentleman running the cash register looks like he might he as old as the mountains - he was was a nice guy. The place has an eclectic selection of goods: polished rocks of every kind for sale, an assortment of flies, some traditional fishing tackle, postcards, tourist trinkets, and more.

I take the vitamins, use the lip balms, hair brushes, socks, purchase my elderberry zinc lozenges - which I basically pop like candy during these times, girls gotta keep that immune system thriving! vegan cookies, candies, tea - I mean I can go on and on. This store has everything I adore. They really have a ton of great items you'd need for all aspects of your healthy living life and extremely high standards for every product sold here. While, sure you may not be able to get every last item you need here that's zero issue for me. I'm used to frequenting at least two separate stores (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Ralphs -which I've now learned is City Market here) at home for different items. I'd give you the hottest tip on the Western Slope but I don't want everyone flooding the store for her ;) cough cough Jessica - greatest girl around. Great customer service from everyone I've ever encountered! Fantastic products, I can see why the health conscious peeps of all surrounding areas drive into town for this store. It's the best of the best. You can stop off on the drive to Telluride if you need to stock up on yummy goodies for your trip. I plan on being a customer each and every time I'm in town and highly recommend.

Local managers need to be empowered to buy from local farmers etc. No comparison say to Durango Natural Foods Co-op which has better produce, a small but nice deli, and overall better selection.

Working at Walmart was a consistently disorganized and frustrating experience. Scheduling was…read moreextremely inconsistent due to an AI-generated system that was left largely without proper managerial review, resulting in chaotic and unreliable shift patterns that made stability outside of work difficult. Employees were also given work phones while being paid unlivable wages, and the attendance point system felt heavily restrictive and unfairly enforced, creating constant pressure and instability. Communication from management was poor, with unclear expectations and little follow-through. Coaches were frequently rude or dismissive, and there was little to no recognition or appreciation for hard work, even when employees consistently went above and beyond. Concerns raised by staff were often ignored or minimized, including serious interpersonal issues between coworkers, which were not handled appropriately. Overall, the environment reflected poor working conditions, low accountability, and little support for employees. I do not support this company based on my experience working here and neither should you. Shop at Kroger.

I so wanted to have a seat and order a glass of wine and cheese, but of course we'd just eaten and happened to have small children in our entourage. It wasn't the right time! But that didn't stop us from a leisurely browse. Over The Moon is a perfect shop for touristy and boutiquey Telluride. It's a bit cramped inside, but they've made wonderful use of their space. When you first walk in you'll see shelves and shelves of gourmet pantry items (fancy pastas, sauces, snacks, etc.), some cute trinkets and antique pieces, and high-end skin care products. I really loved the zebra striped pasta (squid ink is so cool), and would have bought it had it been gluten-free! The best part of this little shop is the tiny bar they have where you can order wine and beer by the glass, some amazing cheeses, and fine cured meats. YUM. Y'all know I love nothing more than cheese... They had several options on their menu and were very upfront about which cheeses they'd run out of (and of course were willing to substitute what they did have on hand, and let us know what day the missing cheese would be back in stock). There are just a few quaint tables and chairs for enjoying your order, and the staff is extremely warm and inviting. It's a family owned spot and you can tell that the people working here are genuinely invested in what they do, and excited to share their products with you.

A nice addition to the Telluride area. Stop by for a glass of wine and a plate of cheese.read more

Whatever you do, do NOT get a sandwich or meat or anything from the deli. The kids (literally maybe…read more18-21) behind the counter are probably violating every sanitation code for stores. I dropped in to get a sandwich today and my first shock was seeing the behind-the-counter kid helping me touch everything with the gloves that he was going to use to make my sandwich: his face, his pockets, a pen, a clipboard, a scale. I asked him to change his gloves. He did. Then he proceeded to set the clipboard down on the sandwich making cutting board, run his newly gloved hand across the paper, grab a pen, and touch a dirty wall on his way to get the meat. The best was yet to come. He grabs the ham, and goes to the meat slicer, already with some salami on it, sets the ham down on the side of the counter where there is roast beef that had been sitting there since I walked up, removes the salami and sets that aside on another counter. And here is the worst part. He disappears into the back, brings out a literal small bucket of water, pulls out a dirty cloth from it that's been used for who knows what, wrings the water out back into the bucket, then uses the cloth to wipe off the meat slicer where he then sets down the ham.... he then throws the filthy rag back into the bucket--presumably to be used again... wherever else it's needed. At that point, I said, "changed my mind" & walked away. If you want to get sick, get your lunch here.
