" Cool store things you don't see anywhere " This store is in a good location if you take the train . If you drive you need to have someone wait in the car while you go in , my best option . So the store is huge with lots of things you don't find anywhere else . I got a pair of socks that say " my dog is cool as fuck " and a Newbury Comics black bag, basically their swag . The store is definitely pricey but they have unique pieces in on location . You pay for the newbury comics name , lol.

Tad disappointing. It was one of the places my husband used to hang out while he was in college. It was a typical indie, mom and pop store. Glad it's still around, still indie, but taken over by trends, lost its identity, it's generic, with products you can find anywhere else (bubble heads anyone, figures, etc). Not so much in the way of comic books. It is pricey, gentrified, not very unique. Like a store you'd fine in a mall. A tad sad to visit.

Stopped in on a whim and was so happy to see a full vinyl record store on the bottom level! Good selection of comics and graphic novels along with other merch. Friendly staff and happy to have had the chance to talk a little bit of hockey with the cashier.

I was initially excited to visit Newbury Comics on Newbury Street -- it felt refreshing to see a local record shop still surviving in Boston. But that excitement faded quickly when I realized this location prioritizes profit over customer loyalty or service. Nearly everything in the store is marked up *far beyond* reasonable retail pricing. We're talking double, sometimes triple, what you'd pay on Amazon or through other legitimate retailers. It's especially outrageous with collectibles -- for example, the new **Prismatic Evolution Elite Trainer Box** (MSRP \$50) is being sold here for **over \$160**, and the **Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection** (MSRP \$90) is listed at **more than \$200**. That's not a markup -- that's scalping. Vinyl records are just as bad -- most titles are easily found online for half the price. It's frustrating because you want to support a local spot, but they make it impossible with these exploitative pricing practices. Bottom line: This isn't a cool local shop anymore. It's a tourist trap with scalper energy. Do yourself a favor -- shop online or support stores that value their customers, not just their wallets.

This is everything you could want in a comic book store and more. They have Funkos and novelty socks and merch from various licensed characters and properties. And the store is just packed to the brim with stuff. It can be a little overwhelming and even hard to navigate because there's just so much to look at. I've wanted to come here since college, though, after my old roommate gave me a beer glass with the Newbury Comics logo. I don't have the glass anymore so I decided to get something else with the logo: a tote bag. It's black and white and has the logo on the front and the back says: A Wicked Good Tote. It's a cute Boston souvenir, too. They actually had quite a few nice tote bags to choose from. I also love the record store downstairs. If I actually had enough room in my suitcase I would have properly shopped it. But I was just visiting. So cool, though. Love the neon signs down there too. Newbury Comics is just a fabulous store for all your pop culture needs. Def a must see/shop if you love comic book or record stores.

I love Newbury Comics at all its locations. But this location might be my favorite not only because you're in the center of Boston, but it's two floors of just amazing things. They have an assortment of a monopoly boards different versions of Clue. They have this huge box of Cards Against Humanity, they have tons of books loads of Funko Pops. I even saw a pet rock there. I haven't seen one of those since I had one as a kid. The staff is nice, there was one Gentleman on the second floor that helped me he was very knowledgeable about anime. I'm definitely going back and they're going to have all my money because there's so many things there that I want.

*ATTENTION ALL NERDS and/or OLD SOULS* Newbury Comics is a must visit for all those who love anything music, anime, comic, or funko pop related. They have vinyl records, themed t-shirts and hoodies, sick posters, a great collection of comics, toys, games, and more. I had first visited a Newburry comic store in a mall in providence, Rhode Island I bought my brother two cool funko pops and I bought myself a couple of interesting comics. I had liked the store and wanted to visit again, but I sadly left to CA before I had another chance. However, on my trip to Boston I found this location and my expectations were smashed (in a good way). This location was larger and it even had a floor just for records. They had a ton of Pink Floyd records and posters. Simply loved it! Make sure to visit!

The bottom of the card pack with normal factory sealing on it. Not tampered with.

But I'll never be as cool, because all my vinyl is...classical and my turntable is...wood. Orpheus is exactly the kind of store you would expect to find in Boston, a classic music destination. Small with an exclusive collection, you'll find some rare stuff. How about Paderewski playing his own stuff, whooo. Rachmaninoff playing his own stuff, ouch. Ravel playing his own stuff, pretty! I've found them here. That's a tiny odd slightly incestuous cross-section, but you get the idea. Good stuff. Is Classical better than Electronic? Not anymore. Electronic's innovation, output and breadth easily surpassed the catalog of Classical music a while ago. Still, if you haven't seriously listened, Classical music offers Rhapsodic moments that will never be lost in time. Guts? Do you want some guts to go with it? Try my this 1:14 sample of Sviatoslav Richter, playing Scubert's Wanderer Fantasy. But you have to listen to the whole thing, OK? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Richter_wanderer.ogg I'll be honest though. 80% of my collection is from Salvation Army. And it's all gold, baby.

This CD is truly a blessing from the heavens and delivered to us via the prophet Robert. This is both the greatest album in history, and the greatest album of today. This is what happens when you search through a vault of precious 24 karat gold, and still manage to leave with the highest quality platinum. This CD ruined all other albums for me, nothing else even holds a candle. The beautiful singing, the masterful guitar work, the majestic drumming, God I can't even accurately describe how exquisite it is. I immediately wished to purchase this masterpiece, but as this work of art was so coveted, as at the time there was zero information easily findable on the internet, the store owner and I reached an agreement. We would do research on how much the CD originally sold for and I would later return to this treasure trove to agree on a price. 1 week later I made my return, and after discovering that it originally sold for an affordable 5 U.S dollars, the prophet Robert, in all of his wondrous generosity, let me have it for 10. That is the story of how I obtained the pinnacle of human expression in music form on one, inexpensive, incredible CD. Thank you for reading this section of feedback, and please consider visiting this establishment, as I can guarantee that you will leave a happy patron with the greatest music one could ever hear, except of course, for Crackwhore, as only I am lucky enough to have a copy of humanity's magnum opus.
