During a spontaneous trip to the mall in North Attleboro, I stopped in FYE and found some cute items to purchase. There's only one associate on a Saturday and he automatically signs you up for a subscription to the VIP service for FYE at the point of sales. This is not my first time dealing with this store but a No doesn't get you too far. He says it's free, but of course you have to cancel within 30 days. Make sure you remember that or else it's $11.99 per month for a subscription you probably won't use. The whole promotion for this VIP service takes much longer than necessary, plus you have to provide a license to the associate which I feel is sketchy. Randomly he throws in subscribing options for magazines too and just prolongs the whole cashing out experience. Fortunately to cancel the subscription is fairly easy online, but you have to find the correct button to cancel. Emailing them will get you no where with FYE. I feel like the whole subscription thing is a ploy to try to keep the remaining FYE businesses and online presence open, assuming people will forget about the subscription and help subsidize their failing business. I think that'll be my final time shopping at FYE.

Tons of new and used CDs, tons of used DVDs, used VHS, cassettes, collectible box sets and more. The only downside (for me) is there isn't that much vinyl. It's called Kangaroo CDs and Tapes so they do deliver what they claim in their name. They do offer special orders they can get anything available, there just isn't that much vinyl to browse. I'd totally suggest checking out the store because there is lots of great stuff and it's run by some good people! Plus any store that's still selling psychical media of music should be supported!!!

Holy Smokes!

Huge store with all types of used and new books. You could spend a good chunk of time browsing through the bins and shelves. It is great that they have a train table in the kids area so they kids can play while you browse the books. I was searching for Lunar New Year books, but couldn't find any. They had a bin for the big holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter and a general holiday bin for smaller holidays. The employees were nice and can system search by author/title, but they couldn't do a search by general topic/genre.

They are organized in sections by genre but still allow for hunting which makes it fun! Ready for the best part??? Almost everything in the store is only $2!!!! Meh, I've got mixed feelings on this shop…read more On the one hand, it's a classic record shop with a large volume, particularly in the rock/classic rock category, but also decent offerings in jazz, soul, and blues. As mentioned, they do have some offerings of mint, unopened, newer indie releases. Prices are generally reasonable on their used stuff, though I wouldn't go so far as to say cheap (at least not for any good albums in decent shape). That said, I've certainly broadened my collection with a few good finds here and have appreciated its presence. Finding a gem or two is a usual occurrence here if you look hard enough. On the other hand, for me this shop lacks personality. It reminds me of the music shop in Low Fidelity, except there are no witty debates over what qualifies as "good music", and there's often not even any music being played in the shop. Recently when I brought some out of town music-head friends in for them to scour a bit, the owner was overheard talking shit about the customers. All in all, in a world of struggling or dying record shops (one that I preferred on Wickenden closed down about 2 years ago), its certainly a blessing that Round Again is still around. With it's lack of offerings in alternative genre's however, I often prefer some of the other record shops PVD has to offer: -SDC Audio and Video on Angell St. has a surprising volume of records and the owner is friendly and flexible. -Analog Underground and Armageddon on the West End are smaller, but cater to more indie and metal/punk respectively. All of these shops will be happy to throw on an album that you are debating about, or to put in an order for a request you haven't been able to find

Good selection of modern rock, punk, alt, and 60's rock. GREAT selection of audiophile pressings. Some wild Japanese vinyl from The Who that I'M DYING to own. They know what they have, and it's priced accordingly, but stuff that doesn't move seems to get discounted (despite what Discogs says it's worth) Clean, organized, friendly staff, no pressure. It's slowly becoming my favorite record shop.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

I always drive past this place on my way home from the Wrentham Outlets. I finally got around to…read moregoing inside. My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
