I have been going to NewEdge Wellness for about a year now and it's probably the smartest decision I have ever made. I have had issues with my back for many years and it was just getting worse. I am in a line of work where I am bending, lifting, squatting, etc., and the pain was getting worse and my recovery time was getting much longer, time I didn't have. Dr. Chris and his staff are top notch! I have been to other chiropractors over the years, but mostly it was an in and out type of experience. No x-rays, just a quick adjustment and you are done. I stopped going because there was no long term benefit. Dr. Chris runs his clinic way different. First you go through extensive x-rays, both standing and then "moving" x-rays, where you actually see how your spine moves as you move. Then he goes over them very throughly with you and recommends a treatment plan. This is where you have to decide how much your overall health is worth. In my work, if my back doesn't work right, I can't work, period. Not only that though, but just day to day living was uncomfortable. I made the decision to go for it. Again....the best decision I have made! Dr. Chris's treatment plan is not a sprint, it's a marathon, that takes some commitment, but it is well worth it! He is explains, educates, and cares deeply how you are doing. He and his staff teach you stretches, exercises, and send you home with various exercise equipment to use at home. It is truly a team effort between Dr. Chris, his staff and you. The best part is they all make you the most important member of the team and you are very much treated that way! One of the most impressive things I have experienced there, is not only the HUGE and life changing improvement with my back and neck, but how flexible they are with your schedule. Mine is very unpredictable at times with last minute changes. All it takes is a quick text or call to the office and they will almost immediately accomodate your schedule. This is my first time going to a chiropractor because I've been scared my whole life of it. Dr. Chris has helped me with a personal plan which I so appreciate. I have seen so many chiropractors and osteopaths in the past, but he has a slow-n-steady, incremental approach with stretches and exercises that are added as I improve in strength. I have only been getting treatment and adjustments for a month now. I had a set back with my low back pain and I got in to see Dr. Ryan that afternoon. The chiropractic treatments require both patient and doctor dedication. Home and office exercises before adjustment will only add to the success of treatment. I will admit that this is not a cheap endeavor, the cost is much more that I expected, but if it helps heal my issues it will be well worth it. Not enough positive comments can be made about the staff that supports the doctors. Most have been patients before being employees and are pleasant, kind, and understand the pain or discomfort being experienced by the patient. Dr Murphy and his staff are amazing! Made my family and I feel right at home and really catered to our needs. He is very thorough with what he does in his adjustments, and I've never felt better! I have been seeing Dr Chris for several weeks. I used to have 15 migraines a month. Since I started seeing Dr. Chris I have only had 3 migraines in a 3 month period. Such a vast improvement!
