I asked the lady if she could do my nails like the pic..... this is what I got. And while asking if she can do this, she becomes frustrated bc I couldn't understand her and got an attitude. Wow! I have been going to this nail salon twice a month for the past eight years. I booked an appointment for last Monday and accidentally forgot to add it to my calendar and ended up missing the appointment. When I realized my mistake, I called to apologize and reschedule. The owner, Monica, ripped into me saying I hurt her business and that she refused to let me book a new appointment. Then she hung up on me. I have never missed an appointment and whenever I've had to reschedule, I have always called. In the past eight years of being their client and spending $48.00 (including a tip) each time, I estimate I've spent over $9,000 on their services. What a despicable and unprofessional way to treat a client over one missed appointment. If one client missing one appointment is the end of the world for this salon, maybe they should subscribe to a service that sends an appointment reminder text to the client. Definitely do not recommend wasting your money on this ungrateful business. read more

I love this nail salon! They are easy to get into and personally I think they have the best prices in Fountain Hills. My mom started coming here last year and introduced it to me once I visited and it is the only place I will get my nails done at when I come back for a visit. They are very clean and their nail salon does not have that awful chemical smell like most of them do. They are very nice and I can tell care about each of their customers. I needed a gel mani while camping in Arizona & decided to give Newer Nails a try. They're located in a beautiful strip center in a large, clean unit. Monica did my nails & did a wonderful job. Her English was excellent and we had an very enjoyable conversation while she worked her magic. So glad I found this place. read more

I made appt. and got in hours later. I wanted a pedicure and got the very basic service. The gal was courteous and did a nice job. A basic service included nail trim, lotion massage, light scrub of heels and finally polish. The chairs are massage for the spa experience. It served the purpose but I will venture out again in another month or so and go where I can get paraffin, scrub, and a callus treatment. I loved that I was the only person in there the whole time so during social distancing, I was very happy about that. I live in FH for almost 10 years. This is the first time I tried this place because the dollar sign is $-inexpensive. I assume it was the owner who did my nail. Twice he cut into the flesh and it hurt so much that I thought I would be bleeding, Luckily, he didn't cut deep enough and I didn't bleed. I was surprised when they didn't use liner and sealed tools like others. I am just hoping it is ok. When I paid, I was told $25. It became the most expensive pedicure in Fountain Hills. The owner must feel bad for over charging and he started complaining to me in front of other customers that my nails are too thick. Speechless!! That is all I can say. Well. I have no complaints about this place and I've been to LOTS of nail salons. They do good, professional work and are a husband and wife duo. Lots of good polish to choose from and nice, clean place with chairs that actually work so you get a massage while you get a pedicure. Excellent service and lovely people. We will be back! read more

Initially I was all about the accommodating staff here, but now three times in a row they have been "unable" to do a manicure when there is literally 1 person in the whole place. They "don't have time today" at 11:00 in the morning on a weekday?? Weird. read more

Rudest owners I've ever met. I was on Avenue of the Fountains for Halloween tonight and my son had to use the restroom. This was the closest place for us to ask. We went in and asked and they immediately said no and turned their back on me. So I asked where the closest one was and they told me they didn't know and to go ask someone else. Keep in mind, my left foot is in a boot from surgery and I have to use a knee scooter to get around for now. The rudest experience I've ever had in Fountain Hills. I'm speechless. read more

During the busy times of the year, it is best to make an appointment, but they always do their best to accommodate you. This husband and wife team has created a nice, comfortable environment. Unfortunately I just had the worst manicure I have ever had, my nails were cut and filed so poorly that now I know why they had a box of bandaids at the station. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have to give someone a less than favorable review. Reason: the owner and employee are terrible at customer relations. I tried again and again to involve them in a pleasant conversation. No luck! Then my husband, who, admittedly has as an older man, difficult nails to pedicure, went with me several times. He was cut badly two times, so I said something to the owner. The next time I called, a woman answered the phone and started right away to complain that my husband was difficult and hung up. I called again, again I was hung up!? This is ridiculous, I thought. I they do not want to give my husband a pedicure, why don't they let me finish my sentence to request for myself a pedicure?? I am petite and have nice feet [I was told :-)] So, I said to myself, if they hang up on me one more time, I will send a letter to our Fountain Hills Times newspaper. I called again, this time the owner answered the phone and said "we do good nails and you always complain. We don't want your business!" and he hung up. I am a very polite lady, you can trust me, as many people commented to me, thus, if I made a comment to them, I am certain that it was justified. I am so sorry, but I have to give them 'thumbs down' for their behavior. They need to get some customer relations instructions.
