Under new ownership- 1) Remove shellac from nails - she wrapped it in foil and acetone for 2 minutes then decided to remove w/dremel 2) cut nails down 3) put clear coat in nails 4) filed nails front to back only ( not left to right and around 5) painted and top coat At this point i said my nails are rough and the reply was i'll fix it later. 6) used dremel to grind down cuticles. while using dremel she nicked the sides of paint on EVERY finger. i mentioned it and the reply was - your fingers are too high and that is why there are bare spot on side of nails. She attempted to fix this by file the side of my nail to meet the polish as opposed to adding more polish. I went home and less than 2 hours later noticed the polish was peeling up in more than one nail. i returned and asked that my nails be redone, start to finish, not a patch job. she began to speak....it started out with how this was my fault. i then asked the gentleman to have someone else redo my nails bc i didn't want to have them done by someone with an attitude. then she starts screaming in her language, but it was evident she didn't like being critiqued and wanted me to leave. i calmly advised the man that i would be happy to have my nails redone and i would remain a customer OR refund my money and I will never return. He said he would do either, but she could tinier screaming in another language and said she would only return $35 of my $79 as I also had a pedicure and left a tip (the lady, Lee i think that did my pedicure was lovely). Screamer was adamant about only refunding my hands and refused to let the man redo my nails. i explained that my color in my feet was unique and another salon may not have an exact match. after more screaming, he discreetly refunded my entire amount. Thank you sir! However screamer needs to check herself and her customer service skills. This place had been run by a wonderfully hospitable woman. Screamer is not the proprietor, rather a family friend of the proprietors. They need to know, she is running customers away. And when you run a business, you need to have thicker skin. Admit, when you did something wrong and fix it. Don't take it so personal. MY NAILS WERE PEELING DOR GOD SAKE! picture is hours after work was done.

I brought my daughter here for a fill and color change. The woman charged her $58 and did a HORRIBLE job! She left the nail polish in skin. The lines are a mess and uneven on the nails. Would not recommend this place and will for sure never be back.

I just moved up here not long ago. I was looking for a good nails place. I found Pearl nails on google map and I decided to give it a try. I absolutely love it. I do the dipped powder. If you are gonna do the dip power go to Tina. She does an excellent job. She doesn't rush, she took her time. She took about an hour to do your nails so it will look good and perfect. Also they are all very nice. I will keep coming here.

I was looking for a nail salon around Cave Creek and thought I had done my research. Almost immediately I saw cracks in all of my nails which has never happened before. I should have known when she was brushing polish remover across them ...

This was the most expensive, yet probably worst manicure I've had. Which is such a bummer, because I live close and love supporting small businesses. I had my gel polish removed and she only got about half of it. She only massaged one arm and hand for like 10 seconds, but not the other one haha?! I don't know if maybe it's not included? I didn't need one but it was just very odd. I still had skin left around my nail beds. The nail tech was definitely sweet and nice enough. But in this economy, that sadly won't cut it for these prices. Will definitely go somewhere else next time where I know I can get good quality for the price. read more

Not very clean. Continued to pressure me to upgrade to a more expensive package. Powder dipped nails are lumpy and uneven. Very disappointed! She didn't scrub feet or clean under my nails. The cost was almost $100 Sadly this place has declined significantly read more

Absolutely fantastic! My go to nail salon and one stop shop. Got pedi, powder mani, and eyebrows. Powder Mani!! Amazing!!! Not many places do this technique and I suggest you try it, Mai: pedi Jessica: powder mani (better than gel!) She did my eyebrows too. Benefits of powder nails: Powder gels can lasts about 3-6 weeks! Powder do not chip or break and it lasts longer than gel polish. It would be so helpful if you had prices up and a hand out to give to customers. read more

I have been coming here since January 2019. I went to another salon for about 7 years before coming here. The last salon did a good job, but once I started going here I will never go back to the previous salon. I love the way Tina does nails, perfect in everyway. She's kind, sweet and very low keyed. I even have told her to speak up when she's on the phone as you can barely hear her. I saw a review that said she was screaming at them and rude, I find that hard to believe. I am posting a picture of my nails so the public can see, bumps?, polish all over? So for 7 months she has been doing my nails and not once have I had a bump or polish all over the place. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a pedicure or their nails done to use this salon. read more

I'm not impressed with this place. We walked in today since their sign says walk ins welcome, and they told us about 15 minutes to wait. #1 red flag is that you cannot find prices anywhere. On their website, in the store, or even on yelp. They quickly put us in pedicure chairs and we ended up waiting close to 45 minutes for anything. The pedicure chairs look super old, dirty and run down. The pedicure was rushed and the massage was half assed. They used "hot" stones that weren't even warm, and used salt scrub. I went with my sister, who never got the salt scrub, so I'm not sure if my woman gave me an upgraded pedicure without asking or if my sister was shorted on that portion. The manicure was the worst part. The woman painted my nails so quickly and thickly to save time that they wouldn't dry. Fast forward 2.5 hours later and they are still wet underneath the top layer. Thinner layers need to be painted on so I don't need to spend all night trying not to ruin my manicure. The weirdest part was paying. My sister was charged 37 dollars for her pedi/mani and 12 dollars for her daughters. I was charged 52 dollars for my pedi/mani. I didn't even realize until after I left. Why was I charged 15 dollars more for my service, when I got the same thing? Again, I went to their website to check why, and NO prices. This is shady. And if it was for the salt scrub, I would have never agreed to it if I was told that it was more expensive. To the owner, I recommend a price list that the women can hand to the people getting services PRIOR to the services being given. As far as I'm concerned, this whole experience was very slimy, disheartening and cheap when it comes to customer service. read more

Tina (the owner) is the best! I've had her do hard gel nails and now dip nails and she never disappoints! It's obvious she genuinely wants customers to be happy with her workmanship. Call me weird but I'll occasionally ask customers if I can see their nails (so I can size up the other techs' work) and they're really just as good as Tina. No one's told me yet that they didn't like their nails so that's good. Mindy is the one tech I think a few people didn't like here, but she's been long gone now. Any tech is good for Pedi's which are always awesome with hot stone and hot towel. Anyway, they're in the process of revamping the place... all new gray-colored chairs, freshly painted, and clean clean clean. I've been to Glad Nails, Hollys Nails, just about all in this area and honestly wouldn't go anywhere other than Pearl. read more

Pearl nails is a great place to unwind and get beautiful! Get a pedicure ... have your feet rubbed... ah! Have a manicure... I get a Hard Gel French Manicure that looks so wonderful and lasts 3-4 weeks. When it's growing out nobody can tell but me! Tina, the owner is a sweetheart! Give her a chance.... get your mani- pedi at Pearl Nails and see what I'm talking about! read more

This place is absolute scam, They say $32 at the store then when you get to the register they put a random ass price on the register and it ended up turning $52. She said it was more money because she did it under 30 minutes and because there was Gel but she said nothing about that at the door. They're not nice to customers when you have a complaint and they don't try and work things out. They don't give your money. Don't go to this place unless you want platypus nails. read more

A great location with pleasant folks who do a great job. Clean location, newer equipment and great prices. I'm new to the pedicure world and hesitate to let someone chew away at the bottom of my feet. I worry about those things. Dunno why... Anyway - had the full treatment which included a sugar rub massage and a paraffin treatment. I walked away feeling like I was walking on clouds. HIGHLY recommended... a great "gift" idea for family and friends! read more

On Friday afternoon I stopped by to see if I could get a pedicure. I've never been at this place but is close to home and I wanted to give it a try. The lady there (all by herself with only one customer) said she couldn't do it that afternoon. I asked about Saturday morning and she gave me multiple options, we scheduled for 11:00 (I guess fist clue was she didn't even write down my name). The place was simply closed on Saturday morning despite signs of "open" being on. I waited for 30 minutes and nothing... never again will I even TRY to go to this place. read more

It's been over a year and my daughters and I will only have Scott do out nails. Scott is a PERFECTIONIST, his work is always OUTSTANDING! Scott will not allow us to leave his shop unless we are happy and satisfied. My gel nails last as long as 4-5 weeks without ever lifting. They are always shiny, strong and worth the money and time. Lee is the cutest lady who performs the most amazing foot massages. I always look forward to pedicures when Lee give them. I wish I could get them all the time! We would not come back though, because he was just extremely rude. Happy to take her money in the end though. The little nail tech lady was spectacular for my mom though too bad she works for him.

When I told him he was hurting me, he actually tested the grinder on himself as if he didn't believe me, then put it right back on my finger. I repeatedly told him that he was cutting my cuticles and causing pain. It wasn't until he saw the blood on my fingers that he finally apologized. The fact that he initially dismissed my concerns and acted as though I was exaggerating is absolutely unacceptable. The quality of the gel manicure was terrible. The shine wore off after about a day, and the gel was not applied smoothly, leaving my nails bumpy and uneven. They looked poorly done from the start. As for my toes, the polish lasted only about four hours before it started chipping and peeling off. I've attached photos showing the damage. To make matters worse, my mom received a manicure and pedicure during the same visit and experienced similar issues. Her nails began chipping within 24 hours, and I've attached photos of her nails as well. This salon is very expensive, yet the quality of service and workmanship was far below acceptable standards! Between being cut multiple times, having my concerns ignored, and receiving nail services that started failing almost immediately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

My wife and I and my teenage daughters Madelynn and Makenzy have visited the salon for nails and pedicures on numerous occasions over the past 2 years and we absolutely love the kind staff and professional service we received. We have been to other salons in the area a couple times when they were to busy to get us all in and the experience we not the amazing quality we get at Pearl Nails so now if they can't fit us in we just wait or get on their schedule because the quality is the best. Furthermore they recently purchased all new massage/pedicure chairs and nail stations and updated the entire salon where other shops in the area have old equipment that sometimes doesn't even work. The staff is always full of smiles and easy to talk to. They listen to how my girls want their nails done and do a perfect job every time. When I get a pedicure they even give me an awesome shoulder massage which is very relaxing. Bottom line this is the best place to get your nails, feet and eyebrows done at a fair price and amazing quality so I you want it done right the first time and you want to relax in the newest massage chairs in the industry this is YOUR place. read more

I live in the cave creek area and have tried almost every nail salon within a 2 mile radius I have been going to Pearl Nails for 7 months and finally found a place that is not only very friendly and very clean but has the best nail tech I have ever had. Scott is a perfectionist I have gel nails and my nails have never been so healthy and great looking .My gel nails last 3 to 4 weeks and my nails grow fast except for the growth they look as good as the day I had them done. I am always on a tight schedule so the 50 minutes it takes to complete my visit is a real convenience for me. read more

Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to have my nails done at a variety of salons. I went to Pearl Nails a few months ago and met the best nail tech ever Scott. I do a french gel manicure and can honestly say that not only my nails never looked better but they also last for 3-4 weeks. NO ONE has done as fine a job as Scott. He takes his time and is very meticulous and will not settle for anything less then perfect. I know there is no one else I would trust my nails to then Scott. Been to many salons in phoenix and not one was able to put on gel nor acrylic without them coming off before the two week return visit..I am hard on my nails and was pessimistic that they would stay on but they did. I will never go anywhere else. Plus my schedule is so weird and Scott always seem to find time . I call in the morning and I can get in the same day. Very clean and professional too. Scott at Pearl Nails suggested a different types of gel nails than I've ever had before because I was having a lot of problems with peeling and cracking with previously going to other nail salons. I was hesitant, but took his suggestion. My nails have looked almost brand new for 3 weeks now! And I am a server, so my hands get beat up very quickly. Pearl Nails has recently been taken over by Scott. He does a very nice job on gel nails as well as pedicures. I love the message portion of both the mani and pedi. All the staff are very pleasant. If you go during the month of Nov they have a 30% discount which is very reasonable. I do think their regular price will be a little high. read more
