After a small amount of googling I found RecycleForce and now I don't know how I didn't know about them sooner! They were fast, provided a receipt without even asking, and after looking into their history and the impact they've had as a workplace for ex-offenders I'm proud to have supported them! There is a small fee for TVs, monitors, and HVAC/refrigerant products. It was $25 to recycle my TV but the price of mind that it wasn't simply headed for a landfill was worth it.
