I can do without the mayo. The batter is similar to the Takoyaki. Ingredients are cabbage, egg, and other veggies. Some topped theirs with cheese, but I guess that's more Americanized. My friend had ramen (w/pork broth) which she thought was okay. I would have gotten gyoza but we were advised that they weren't fresh, but frozen and we can easily buy our own and make them at home if that's the case. The tempura wasn't prepared by Japanese, so we passed on that too. There was also an Indo Mie booth which my friend found funny since it's Indonesian, but whatever, ha. Not much was happening on the stage when we arrived, but I heard 2 pretty famous Japanese singers performed which is cool. There was a vendor with fancy massage chairs that should have been at an expo at the Del Mar Fair. They didn't get the memo and instead got stuck at the fair giving "rides". Their target clients are doctors/chiropractors. We tried the chairs and oh my gosh they work so well, but let me tell you...the bottom of my feet were seriously in pain and sore days later. Too rough! I don't have fat feet or anything so my bones had enough. Couldn't get out though, because the chair locks you in until it's over. My goodness! Anyway, this $5 fair wasn't too bad for year 2, but it can certainly be improved. I was hoping to enjoy it longer, but it got old quickly.

This is the first year I've gone to the PQ Fiesta and it certainly didn't disappoint. What was…read morespecial about this year is that it's the first year that there was a street parade. The first year obviously has it's hitches, but for the most part, everything ran smoothly. The parade started at Mt. Carmel High School and went for a mile, ending by the shopping Vons/Rite Aid shopping center. The traffic in the area was horrible, but SDPD did it's best to maneuver and direct cars accordingly. Definitely the potential to have more participants in next years parade. I walked with my fiancee's group in the parade representing Councilmember Cate. We waved and handing out lollipops and info on city information to onlookers of the parade. Very well received. The parade was 1 mile long and we walked the route. It was cool seeing all the PQ residents come out and support! At the end we walked through the booths, and surprisingly the there were over 100+ booths to look. My fiancee had a booth by the stage so we hung out there before the program at the stage started. Volunteer organizations and kids got awards for their outstanding community service. So cool they all got recognized on stage for their community contributions. Tons of booth with food, community organizations, rides, info booths - all worthwhile to come and visit this fiesta. I can only imagine it'll only get bigger! Kudos PQ for having a great event!

With the many cities that have so many people and the races that make them up with the different areas from the Hillcrest and the Fashion Valley and the Linda Vista parts of San Diego there were many places that showed so many things from the many concerts and the silent movies which made the many areas of San Diegos History the many years the City of San Diego is so rich in the Movies and the Music history the many years of the many great actors which had so many great movies. San Diego back in the 1900 and the 1920s was rich in the many areas of creating and the many movies that were coming out of Hollywood would be showed to certain cities many theaters which had those years had the great welcome to the areas of the first silent movies. The History of the Guild Theater has so many years to it. The Hillcrest theater was built in 1913 as a silent picture house and the first theater for San Diego of the Hillcrest Area though small in small in size it also has a balcony. It was built in Distinctive Spanish with the form of the front and the bell that has been there for many years the apex has supported the bell for many years as so many have driven past the theater up 5th Avenue. For some reason it had closed down in 1917 and than the theater was reopened back in the year of 1930 by the fox chain of theaters here in San Diego. One of the greatest cult movies that was shown at the Guild was at the Rocky Horror Picture Show Sadly in the year 1997 the theater was closed the same Historic Park Theater was closed just blocks away the interior was changed and the many businesses that had taken over the front area the many great pieces of history are closed with the locations you may see in the Hillcrest and those that are in the North Park area. With the many historical places you may see some that have been here since the 1970s that have such great history with the many cities so many get torn down. Being a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many places to find are some of the bests being a per5sont that has grown up since 1969 for the many seasons and the historical places the many foods and the historical times which have made San Diego the one place the Military and the Top Gun School made the City Famous. My understanding that 2017 was the first Global Winter Wonderland was in San Diego. I had VERY VERY low expectations. But, with the low expectations, I actually had a good time. First off, I bought a Groupon for admission so the cost was not a huge issue for me. I believe with promo codes it came up to about $25 for admission and unlimited rides. Global Winter Wonderland is in SDCCU stadium, so there was plenty of parking. I did come after Christmas, so there was far less people there. There is a long-ish line to get in (they do a bag check). Since I bought the unlimited rides, I had to stand in another line to get a wristband (short because there was less people there). Once inside, I was fairly impressed by the exhibits. So many pretty lights. They were very cute to look at. They also have few shows going on throughout the night. Since I had the unlimited rides, I rode a lot of the rides. If you get motion sickness, be very careful. Most of the rides will spin you around, flip you around, etc. I definitely should have taken some Dramamine. Overall, I had a good time and would come back. I do understand though that if it is packed, that would be annoying since the space is relatively small. I would suggest not coming during peak days. Some logistics that I wanted to mention (1) Parking is $10, make sure to remember where you parked (2) No bathrooms, except porta potties (3) Bring tons of cover up, it was sooo cold!

Yes, that is one question many people that try to think of the many answers that may go with such an event with the sounds of the great rock and the smell of Barbecue that has been cooking the smells of the brisket and the barbecue hot dogs. What makes great barbecue some of the best food is the introduction of the many fine tasting beers with the many vendors that takes to make the great is the beer and food festivals are all about it's for the adults that are over 21. The day of the festival of the beers and food was on a Saturday, so I had to look towards to taking the Lyft driving service to the 8th street transit center that put me close to the Downtown area of San Diego when you don't have a car you do have to take the city transit and the many buses to the many events that are here in San Diego and the North County. With the Transit Stem I was able to get from the National City area to the mission Valley area to catch the number 6 bus that leaves and goes to the North Park area of San Diego. Upon the arrival at the event there was a lot of people that were walking down El cajon Blvd with the end of the event that was at 22nd street and the many sections of the festival that was at the front of the Lafeyette you couldn't miss the event with the many people walking down the street. Arriving at the event after 100pm that was before the general admission people were being allowed inside the event going to the main event that the staff of the event saw my situation of my knee brace and was escorted the front of the line to the main entrance. I had to pull the ticket off my phone they were checking at front and IDs when you get to the front entrance that no one that was under 21 was being allowed inside. I was greeted at the front gate my ticket was checked as I got through the gate the staff was handing out plastic glasses, they were to be used for the many vendors that you visit, and the food was paid out of pocket. The many food vendors the many people they had there was something that was one big party and the food they had served was some of the best barbecue and the Bavarian Pretzels they were a meal for two people. I took a few minutes to a walk about the event to0 get a good look at the many vendors for the breweries some of them had one to three tents a size of the event it was close to the size of the Saint Patrick's Day Event that held in the Gaslamp. Many of the Breweries the festival was showcasing they had the new beer lines and the new one with the many brewmasters take the many years to come up with the recipes and the best ingredients. The whole event was to raise money for the medical and the children's medical research and the charities that have strong ties that are connected. The many people that was there at the festival and the many breweries working on a time crunch that was limiting the time of service at the last call of the hour before the 320pm. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the many things that I had experienced with the crowd flow and meeting the staff that was the best and to have help to the front to the front not having to stand in line great work to the coordinators and the people at the front. The location for the event was at the front of the Lafeyette one of the most historical and one of the best places to have a large event.
