Last week I went to the Verizon store in Great Neck. The experience could not have been better. David is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Switching to a new Samsung 24 phone (he carries iPhone and Android products) was effortless and smooth. David also advised us on which Verizon plan was best for us. I recommend that anyone having issues with Verizon equipment should go directly to the Great Neck store and save themselves a lot of time and aggravation.

I asked for a quote before anything was done and they told me $150. I seemed hesitant and that's when the other worker from inside the office (owner or manager?) came out and tried to convince me it would take a few hours of labor and they would have to apply new thermal gel(I later found out this was not a huge deal). This seemed a little fishy to me so I told them I would think about it and left with my items. Forward to a week later, I ordered a new fan from amazon, costed me $16 and VOILA!, problem fixed in about 40 minutes. Moral of the story, do your homework before you take your electronics anywhere to get fixed to avoid getting hustled.
