    This was the damaged board I brought in. GatecomUSA miraculously brought this board back to life.

    You need to go to GatecomUSA for a repair. I truly couldn't recommend this store enough. The owner, Stephan, is down-to-earth and amazingly sincere for someone with amazing skills. I had a refurbished PS4 Pro that I had accidentally ripped the PSU pads completely off from the motherboard. As a refurb, it already had been soldered once before by a previous owner, with PSU wire melted and solder everywhere except on the pads. I was ready to give up hope, looking at the poor condition of the board. I asked around however, and a number of stores quoted me a price with long disclaimers before even looking at my board. Stephan was the only one that cared to look at pictures first, and when I came in with the board because I was hoping for a miracle, he offered to look at it and see if he could fix it without a deposit! I had to insist he take some payment because he was spending his time to help, but he said it was more important for him to do a job well over anything else. I was completely in awe of his empathy, extensive knowledge, and business ethic. And he gave me my miracle, because he managed to microsolder my broken board somehow and brought my system back to life! He's like a doctor for tech, full of knowledge, amazing bedside manners, and surgical hands. And even though he knew how much the system meant to me, as it's my only source of entertainment when I have any free time, he offered me a good price. He just amazed me time and time again, with his skills and his humble, kind, and sincere approach to his craft. I wanted to tip him and he said no, for him it's more important to rise to a challenge and do a good job. I honestly, honestly, honestly could not recommend GatecomUSA more. In a time where there are many crooked stores that only care about money rather than your treasured tech you're hoping to salvage, GatecomUSA is a true diamond in the rough.

    I've had a great experience with GatecomUSA. I needed to add an extra driver to my desktop and they helped me with a very reasonable price. The bigger stores were quoting me double for the same service. The two gentlemen whom I encountered, sorry didn't get your names, were not only patience and nice but experienced and knowledgeable. I have peace of mind knowing that I if anything happens to my computer I can go back and get top-shelf service.

    My Dell G15 gaming laptop died on me, less than two years old. It froze, and it would only power up for three seconds and then shut off, blank screen. I tried to fix it myself, I discharged the power and did multiple resets, replaced the ram, disconnected the wifi, nothing. I wanted to try a local repair shop first before sending it to Dell. Saw the reviews here and dropped it off. I was pretty sure it was a hardware problem, and I wasn't hopeful, or was expecting a steep repair cost. Well, after four days, it was fixed! I was utterly shocked! They said the video card connection, the pins connecting with the motherboard, somehow got messed up, but they got it working again. I was so thankful as the repair price was reasonable and very fair. I felt they spent a lot of time working on my laptop, with frequent phone call updates. And the owner, Stephan, he's a very friendly and kind man. I felt he really wanted to get to know me and my story, and made sure I was taken cared of. Very impressed with the service here, and will always remember my experience with them. Thank you so much, Stephan!

    I saw the store when I was driving by. Love the yellow and blue design! I went to fix my phone screen once and then it became my electronic devices supply store. I am not a tech savvy so if there is anything I wanna buy I will just go to the store and let them recommend for me. They are true professionals. Oh and the price they charge for fixing my phone screen is even cheaper than Chinese store! Cameras, game keyboards, antenna cables, other kinds of cables, iPad holders, headphones, phone cases, speakers... Name it they have it! And I heard they have online store too. Good place to buy and repair electronic stuff!

During the conversation, he also provided helpful and professional advice regarding my other tech-related concerns. Overall, I felt that he genuinely cares about both the service he provides and the people he helps. Because of this follow-up and support, I am revising my overall experience to a 4-star review. I also hope the company's culture continues to reflect this level of care and professionalism and continues to support both customers and staff. --------------------------------------- Previous review -I brought my MSI laptop to this shop for a lid repair. At the time, there was a small crack on the left side near the hinge, and I was worried it might get worse , but the screen bezel was intact. I was initially told that once the part arrived, they would notify me to bring in the laptop, and the repair would then take about a full day. The part arrived on December 30, 2025, I dropped off the laptop on January 6, and picked it up on January 9. -After I got home, I turned on the webcam to prepare for a meeting, and noticed that the screen displayed a blue image. I contacted the shop immediately. I was asked to bring the laptop back for further inspection, but no explanation was provided regarding the possible cause of the issue. -Since the shop is about an hour away, I asked whether a remote diagnosis could be done first to better understand the situation. I was informed that there would be a charge for that service. At the same time, I looked into common causes of this issue and found that it can result from a protective film not being removed during repair. However, this possibility was not discussed. -If a likely cause had been communicated, it would have helped me better understand whether an immediate return visit was necessary. Without that information, the situation was unclear and required additional time and travel to resolve. -More recently, about four months after the repair, I noticed that the bezel near the hinge has cracked, even though I have been handling the laptop carefully. This area was not damaged prior to the repair. Given that the hinge area is a high-stress point, I am concerned that the repair or reassembly may have contributed to this issue. Overall, my experience was disappointing. While the initial interaction felt welcoming, it was followed by a noticeably self-protective approach when issues arose. Although the repair was completed, I encountered additional problems afterward that required significant time and effort to resolve. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend that others ask detailed questions about the repair process, confirm what testing will be performed, and ensure the device is thoroughly checked at the shop before taking it home. In general, I believe that clear communication and transparency are important in building trust with customers over the long term.
