So I had the screen and LCD for my husband's mini iPad fixed here - the repair was faulty and one corner started to lift up. I brought it back and they redid it and I haven't had any further issues. I would have left a 4 star review at that point. While it was annoying to come back, they were professional and courteous and these things happen - even at Apple. Today I called a few times bc I have two more cracked iPads - no answer. I checked their website and they should be open. I drove by and the lights were on and an "open" sign hung in the window. After finding street parking on a Friday - and did I mention my 2 year old was with me? - I get there and the door is locked! I knocked, I called, nothing... how unprofessional and aggravating. If I could give this place a zero star, I would. Spent $$$ to replace my broken iPhone 6 screen. Didn't even last 3 months and the cheap replaced screen is coming off. The guy at the store told me that "you must have dropped the phone" instead of accepting that they use subpar material to fix the screens... he did not even offer to fix it again. Its happens to everyone.... U take your phone outta your pocket and it slips out of your hands..... Like slow motion, you watch it drop and pray that your screen is still intact.... Of course, you pick it up to see a shattered mess. This happened to me over a month ago on a Saturday and I was scrambling to find a place to fix it ASAP as like most, life cannot continue normally without our smart phones. I immediately started Googling and Yelping to find someone that could fix it that day. I found this location and spoke with Ralph. He said he had the proper screen color in stock but that he would be closing early. He did offer to stick around and fix it if I wanted to and to call him back in 15 minutes. Of course, 15 mins turned into an hour but I called him back to take him up on his offer..... He had left his shop already but said he would turn around and come back. How do you like that for customer service.... I met him 30 mins later at his shop and he proceeded to replace my screen. It took him about an hour but I was just happy to get my phone fixed so quickly. I left a very happy camper...... Albeit a slightly poorer one. Unfortunately, about a week or two later, my screen started parting from my phone. Apparently they use refurbished screens for repairs. I contacted them about this and fortunately, they have a 3 month guarantee on their repairs. Their first attempt was to glue the screen back...... Which failed a week later.... I went back and they replaced the screen with a different one. So far, so good.... Except for one night when my screen decided to go completely dead. This was about 2 weeks ago but the next day, it came back to life. I was expecting to have to go back to get it replaced again but it hasnt acted up since..... Crossing my fingers that it wont be an issue anymore. Regardless of the additional repairs required, theyve never hassled me about repairing it over and over. They stand by their guarantee and in my experience, have always given me excellent customer service. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They BROKE my iPad!!!!! Brought my iPad here because it had a surface crack on the screen! Worked perfectly fine and wasn't even a bad crack but just wanted to fix it since it should just be an easy fix right? Well maybe if these people knew what they were doing! They said they had to order the part, not only did it take over a week longer than they said but then they called me that my home button doesn't work anymore! Ummm what??? The iPad doesn't work without a home button! Well I took it to many other places after to try to fix it and they opened the iPad and said wow whoever took your screen off did a sloppy job and ripped off your home button! It can't be fixed!!!! It should have never ever happened! They told me they completely took the screen off wrong and broke a perfectly good IPad!!! They wanted to charge me for the second half of it too when I had to pick the broken iPad up! I will be reporting them to better business borough and calling my credit card company to take away the deposit payment. BEWARE if you were a previous customer before the 19th of this month- the owner has changed and they are not upholding your warranty for anything you had fixed previous to this new ownership. My name was never even put into their system by the previous owners for either of my two repairs either according to them. I was delighted when they told me in December 2017 they could fix the cracked screen of my Microsoft surface pro 4. They would order the screen and when it was in I could drop off my computer and pick up a few hours later. All went well after pick up for about a month. Then the screen started getting blurry and jumping up and down. Brought it back in January and WOULD NOT HONOR THE warranty on the screen! After a one week diagnosis they said there was an internal crack and it would not be warranted! I was between A rocket and a hard place because I was already without it for work for a full week. I negotiated a new price down to$130 to get a new screen. The new screen lasted a week this time. It started jumping around and the curser couldn't control the screen. This time I went to Microsoft in Roosevelt Field. They gave me a brand new unit for free!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE NASTY PEOPLE AT I FIX IN GREAT NECK. THEY CURSE AT TBEIR CUSTOMERS! Maybe iPhone screen is different, but do not let them touch any computer/tablet or laptop. They do not know how to repair these. VERY RUDE PEOPLE!! read more

The young man at the store was very rude to me. I dropped off my iPad with a broken screen on Sunday, and he told me it would be fixed in 2 hours. Now (72 hours later), I called in to check on my iPad and he yelled at me. He asked why I was in such a rush and refused to commit to any time to get it finished. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Their screens are just as boujee as the guy working behind the counter claiming to be the "owner/manager". Took my phone there to replace the screen on my Iphone 8. 1. He told me it would take 20 minutes and that he'd call me once completed, that did not happen resulting me to head into the store 1 hour later to find out its not completed. 2. After getting there my screen was popping out of the frame but he claimed that was normal and that my frame was bent (it was not confirmed by apple later on). 3. Made my first call an 1 hour after i left the store to find out that putting my ear against the screen resulted in pressing random buttons and muting calls resulting in me losing business transactions. I immediately called them in a nicely manner trying to resolve it but ended resulting in some confrontation and told them I want my old screen and money back to which the owner agreed to saying "Come in tomorrow morning. I called the next morning to find myself getting ignored and finally being picked up on at 2:30pm saying he recorded our call the previous day (which he got no confirmation from me to be recorded or claiming that he was recording me) and that he confronted the police and that I'm not longer welcome in the store. As any customer would, I did get heated and from there he started yelling on the phone saying "Come to my story P**sy, I'll break your mouth", being violent meanwhile I don't think I ever reacted in a threatening way to hurt him or annoying in the fact nor has any business owner I know has. It resulted me in saying I'd be there with the police in 10-20 mins. Got there with the police waiting outside saying he no longer wants you in the store and took take him to small claims court (really). This just all goes to show that whoever running and owning the store should no longer be in business acting like that. A real business owner like myself would go out of his way to make things right and not have a customer leave a review like this. He didn't even try to make things right. THIS GUY IS A SCAM, SELLING CHEAP CHEAP QUALITY SCREENS AND IS IN BUSINESS TO HURT PEOPLE. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Went in to fix my phone was told 150$ and pick it up tomorrow at 3pm. So I go in the next day at about 330pm and was told that the manager didn't come with the sceens so he couldn't fix it. I was extremely pissed and I told the guy "well you told me today it would be fixed." And then I said "well you better give me a discount." So he dropped it down $20. He then told me "come in tomorrow at 12pm I will have it done." So I came in the next day and he goes, " I'm sorry the manager still hasn't come in, he will be in today in about an hour." Seeing that my phone wasn't fixed for the second time I started to yell, "Are you f***ing kidding me?!" I told him "give me my phone!" And he said "but wait for one hour and the manager will be here to fix it." And I told him "I have to be on a plane in 3 hours, give me my f***ing phone. I took my phone and left. I went to I Fix Screens to get my iPhone 7 screen replaced after cracking it. I had to catch a flight the same day so I didn't have time to make an appointment at apple. Immediately after departing i Fix Screens and upon arriving at the airport I noticed the keyboard was typing the incorrect letters, the speaker phone sensor was broken, calls were cut off dialed unintentionally, extremely low brightness and the camera would switch to self picture mode without touching it while taking a picture. Upon returning from my trip I asked Syeed at i Fix Phones to replace the screen again at no charge. He said he wouldn't as the owners changed and gave me the old owners cell phone to track him down for a refund as my year warranty I was promised upon repair was no longer valid.. He finally said he would do the replacement at "cost" which I found to be unacceptable since I shouldn't have to pay for the replacement twice for their error. DO NOT GO HERE! They use cheap aftermarket parts and for the same price you can go to Apple and have it done correctly with GREAT customer service. read more

Brought my older iPad here because I was not sure if it was worth fixing when I broke the screen. I decided to go through with it and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They let me know that I also had broken the start button when I dropped it and they fixed that issue as well. iPad is now working excellent and prices were extremely affordable.
