I've also visited in the evening before where a book club meeting was ending and a D&D campaign was beginning and it was quite lively, but still a great vibe. I've had 2 visits now with many more to come. Store workers were super friendly and greeting me upon entering and looking around. Bartender was friendly as well and seemed to enjoy engaging with the guests.

I passed by a store called BAM! and it conjured up visions of Emeril Lagasse but the only resemblance this store has to Emeril is that it sells cookbooks. Little did I know that BAM! Is short for Books-A-Million and this store has plenty of books, stationary, puzzles and other gifty items. Preferring to listen to audio books, I'm not one for physical books but this store had some lovely displays and vignettes that sucked me in. Although not as large as Barnes & Noble there is still a very healthy selection of well organized merchandise. There was something very nostalgic and cozy about browsing in this store. Please write about the most experienced, professional, personable and CARING orthopedic Surgeon…read morethat I have ever known in the last 50 years when I have had 17 major orthopedic surgeries from 10 different providers. I met Dr. Joseph Serino in 2025 after I had experienced the second failure of my left artificial knee. I went to two other Surgeons prior to learning about Dr. Serino on the internet. The first two Surgeons declined to tell me what was wrong with my knee and declined to treat me stating that I was too "High Risk" for a third total knee replacement and a history of past surgical infections. I learned about Dr. Serino on the internet. The information that I found indicated that he specialized in very difficult knee, hip and bone fracture surgical cases as well as "routine cases". Dr. Serino saw me and within five minutes looked at the x-rays and told me that the knee implant was loose and damaging the shin bone. So I needed a third Total Knee Replacement. He went on to say that he could and would repair this problem for me. The Doctor described the procedure in detail, went over all the risks and articulated a mitigation strategy for each risk factor. Dr. Serino replaced my knee in 12/25 and the surgery was totally successful with no complications. The recovery was smooth and quicker then I had ever experienced in previous surgeries. The Doctor operated on me again in 02/26 for an unrelated tendon tear that I did in the gym. Again, a flawless surgery with no complications. Why do I think that you should write about Dr. Serino? The most professional, technically "cutting edge", personable and a superb patient communicator. The best I have met in 50 years with 17 orthopedic surgeries. * Extremely responsive. Responds to messages and phone calls within a couple of hours at most. * The most extensive, risk mitigated pre-op procedure that I have ever experienced. * On his own, he called me three times after each surgery to check on me. * Very punctual, I have never waited to see him in his office more than 20 minutes. Afforded me all the time that I needed at each appointment. * Dr. Serino is new to the DMV area and already is amassing a significant patient base. He sees patients in Columbia, Fulton, Catonsville and Eldersburg. He operates at Saint Agnes Hospital as they have the most up to date and modern joint replacement programs and a very effective infection prevention protocol. * Bottom line: Dr. Joseph Serino genuinely CARES about his patients. You can tell that in every word and action that he takes. I will tell you for certain that He is extraordinary in every sense and much much different (positively) than any other Doctor I have ever known. I truly believe that there are many people in our area who have difficult orthopedic cases that Dr. Serino could help. 12.26.22 I shop here…read moreso frequently I am shocked I have never reviewed this location. Today there was an after Christmas final sale where most Christmas merchandise were 50% off. The only items that weren't were the individual Christmas cards. I arrived around 7:45 this morning and there was already a lot of patrons in the store and in line. I picked up a handful of items that I can gift next year. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The associate assisting me at checkout was very cheerful despite it being a hectic morning already. One of the other associates helped put fragile items into boxes for me. I spent $82 today, the most I have ever purchased in one transaction. I had to maximize on the savings. Lol. Love this location and the variety of merchandise they have. Highly recommend. Tip: Sign up for their Gold Rewards loyalty program to get coupons.
