They blamed the delay on COVID-19 which makes no sense as the dress would've shipping LONG before the outbreak as I ordered it in December. On exactly May 1st I was told that the dress would be here in 2 weeks. It is now June 17th and I have no dress. I was told it would be MAXIMUM another 2 weeks... a month and a half ago. They will not answer any messages now or return my calls. When I got through to the staff, they REFUSED to put the manager on the phone. My best guess is that they forgot to order my dress in December and tried to rush order it in May when I called. Moral of the story; I'm the only girl without her dress. All of my friends who ordered them from Elizabeth Noel, have a dress. All I have is a wasted deposit.

I went to a few with no luck. I went to Talize and saw they had a few small racks in the front of the store. The bags were quite small, for kids mostly. Some were not in the best shape. Thankfully I decided to browse around the store and found they had a luggage section in the back. It was a bit of a mess, I'm assuming because most people were looking for school bags as well. I picked up a really nice North Face backpack which would have worked really well, except the main compartments zipper was broken. Darn it. I continued rummaging through until I found it! The most perfect Dakine backpack! It was in perfect condition and it was only $9.99!! This was easily a $50 bag so I consider that a steal! The woman at the counter was really cheerful and I was happy with my experience there. I found it didnt have the typical 'thrift store smell' of old fabric. It was clean smelling and fresh. I will definitely be returning there soon to check out more stuff.

Mentioned twice it would be helpful if there was a seat or two at the front of the store for people with mobility issues was told it was wouldn't happen for loss prevention. Asked for help finding shoes that would be appropriate and was pointed towards one pair. A fellow customer was much more helpful and I told her I'd give her a reference if she was looking for a job (she wasn't). So virtually no help. Won't go back there again. I understand businesses want to get rid of instore shopping and their lack of service might get them there but, there are still customers who prefer to shop in person - Skechers might want to make those customer's experiences a little more user friendly.

I enjoyed London. On Saturday, I decided to figure out where everything was. I stumbled across this Skechers store, which was next to the MEC store that I had wanted to visit. I love Skechers. I would be an excellent spokesperson for the brand and would not stop anyone from giving me free sneakers. They are comfortable and are accommodating to women who have large feet. I wear a size 11. Luckily, Skechers makes shoes for me. If you go to the back of the store, you will find clearance shoe items. I found a wonderful, comfy pair of sneakers. The foam insoles are heavenly. My sneakers were 40% off. I was wearing sandals at the time. There are plenty of clean, disposable foot socks. I slipped a couple on and tried my soon-to-be-mine sneakers. Staff here are nice and chatty. I would recommend visiting this store if you are in London. (229)
