She has provided me with nothing but excellent quality and compassionate care In helping me deal with, and recover from, a complex condition. In December of 2018, she saved my life! I was behind on a routine mammogram during one of my visits and did not feel like going. With her gentle coaching, I went and I am so grateful I did. There was a tumor very deep in my right breast that I would never have felt. I was treated all of 2019 and although it did spread to my lymph nodes after I was diagnosed, I can say that I felt more comfortable speaking with Dr. Schwartz than the oncology staff I had at the time. She helped me transition to Dana Farber and also has been extremely helpful with all of my medical and emotional needs, always taking her time with me. I am blessed and honored to be her patient.

My review will be primarily on Covid testing there since that's all I've done If you are planning on coming here for a Covid test READ the website! More than once have I overheard an unhappy person finding out that they have to pay $150 for their test at the counter. If their website wasn't clear before, there are now at least three different places throughout the process of making an appointment online that indicate whether or not your test will be covered. I've shown up both with and without an appointment. If you don't have an appointment, wait time kind of depends on time of day and time of year(around the holidays is busier). Each time I've visited I felt the visit went smooth and my visit was as pleasant as getting swabbed could be.

Emerging from the pandemic, I wanted to get my eyes checked again so I called for an appointment. I was given an appointment and then I received a call that my appointment would be canceled unless I called to discuss my insurance. I have Tufts Health Together presently, which is a MassHealth plan. I have had lots of other types of other insurance in the past, and this is only temporary. When I finally talked to Dr. Bahn's office, the woman who spoke to me was very, very curt with me (as if she didn't want to waste her time with me), as she told me Dr. Bahn didn't take my insurance and that she was canceling my appointment. I asked her how much it would cost to pay completely out of pocket, and she said and I quote: "It's $175.00 just to walk in the door." I really like Dr. Bahn but I will never return as her patient even if my next insurance is the best that money can buy. People should be nicer to one another, especially now.

The sudden onset of vision loss was of great concern to me. Upon contacting Dr. Bhan's office, Dr Bhan made time to immediately see me, no days of waiting. My access to her care was immediate and excellent. Dr Bhan's outstanding "bedside manner" is warm, reassuring and highly informative. Her compassionate demeanor immediately gave me great confidence and reassurance that all would be fine. Upon my arrival at her office, I was immediately taken into the exam room. The exam environment is clean and filled with what appeared to be every conceivable type of equipment she would need, as well as several models of the human eye and associated structures. These items help me understand what was wrong with my sight and how Dr. Bhan recommended we solve the problem. I decided to go forward with having both eyes corrected. Karen in the front office was a very valuable asset to me. She explained all the pre-op requirements, ordered specific medication for pre-op preparations and was there to assist us every time we called. Thank you, Karen! When I arrived at the hospital to have the procedure performed the intake and day surgery preparations were fast and easy. Dr. Bhan greeted me in pre-op, once again thoroughly explained what was about to happen and out, I went! After two weeks of recovery my sight is 20/15 and I have never been able to see so clearly. Thank you, Dr. Bhan and your Staff, for being professional, competent and compassionate.
