AVOID IF YOU CAN!!! Especially true if you are a first time homebuyer! They will tell you one thing, only for everything to change after you close.
We were told exactly what to pay and when. We missed no payments for the first year of our mortgage, then they ran an escrow analysis and found that the agent who set up the mortgage forgot to include nearly $5500 of funding towards the escrow account. We were forced to pay this with only 20 days notice, otherwise the account would accrue late fees, and potentially go into the foreclosure process.
When we tried to talk to the agent who set up the mortgage, he basically told us that it wasn't his problem, and he refused to resolve the issue or respond to any further e-mails. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and cruel.
Luckily, we had some extra funds saved to cover this expense, but I can easily see where this could cause other first time homebuyers to default and potentially go into foreclosure. This is likely their intention. They don't care about you, as long as they get their commission.
Don't let yourselves get scammed by these people. You deserve better. read more
