We were moving out of state and didn't have a place to stay because of them. Then they charge us thousands more at closing because THEY had to extend. They promised we would pay nothing at closing then ended up having to pay over a thousand dollars (we had a seller credit). Devon had no clue what he was doing and acted like he had never done a VA loan before. He didn't know the correct terms of most of the documents we needed then blames us saying we didn't get him everything fast enough. I rarely write reviews but this needs to be said. One of their employees, an Isabel Yousif, called us to perform work for a customer of theirs that needed Tie Downs on their Manufactured Home in order to close. I try and establish good relationships with realtors and funding agents and since it was due to close soon, agreed to have the total paid in closing. That was on December 19th. 2 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything or an update on a closing date so I reached out (January 3rd) Isabel let me know on January 6th that the had been out of the office for the holidays, no bid deal, and she'd contact the funding team to get me an updated closing date. I didn't hear anything for an entire month. On February 6th I reached back out to find out if there had been a delay or really to just get an update. I heard nothing. I reached back out on February 18th and heard nothing. I reached back out on March 5th. Nothing. March 17th. Nothing. March 18th I emailed Central Mortgage Funding directly. Heard nothing. Finally we called and spoke with someone yesterday and were told we'd have a response by end of the day and still have heard nothing. I called this morning and perhaps they blocked me because their number said it was no longer in service. At this point my company has lost $2,500 and I will be looking into further legal action. Do not trust this company. They are unscrupulous and if you do decide to work for them, get paid up front and maybe even get paid in advance. read more

Anthony and Raquel where there to help me with my refi. the other brokers just told me I need to get my files to them, so how do I get the files to you? your problem. I had very bad experience with this mortgage company or lender, they charged for HOA questionnaire and rental appraisal of around $850 without doing proper pre-approval, initially they qualified me for conventional loan even after sending all documents and charged $850, then later lender said I don't qualify for conventional, but I only qualify for DSCR loan with 7.9% rate and around $10000 lender charges with 2.5 points, they thought since I was so stuck I will continue with the offer but I had to say NO as the lender fees and interest rates offered were too high. When I asked to refund, they didn't, it wasn't even my mistake, without proper pre-approval no lender would charge HOA questionnaire and rental appraisal fees. I would stay away from this mortgage company. They say one thing and are not open to you at the beginning, when they know you are really in they change their charges to way high. read more

They will call you from spoofed VOIP based numbers incessantly once they buy your information from the credit bureaus. Their reps will not remove you from their call lists no matter how many times you ask. Half the time their reps won't even tell you what company they're from. Only way I was able to, hopefully, get the calls to stop was to call their main office number from their web site, press 0 to speak to the operator, and then have them remove my number. I'm someone who works in the industry and these people should not be in business with the way they're operating. read more

I'm in the process of buying a home through my lender. The day after mine and my husband's credit got pulled starting at 8am on the dot, my phone wouldn't stop ringing from random mortgage companies every two to three minutes for two days! It has been a week and after repeitively telling companies to take us off their list and stop the harassment. Central Mortgage continues with the harrassment calls three times a day sometimes within ten minutes of each other!!! I have spoken to two "Managers" now requesting them to stop having their reps call us and Chris a floor manager didn't seem to care about me stating it was harrassing and I wanted the calls to stop. He proceeding to ask if I wanted a "free quote" and make his sale. They call from random numbers, there is no way to block these callers!!! I know the business is world is desperate for money, but none of the mortgage companies have been as disrespectful by disregarding our constant requests to be left alone. We will NEVER go with a company that randomly calls from random phone numbers and whom we've never met! The world is entitled and arrogant these days of reps that don't listen and need to get real jobs, not to mention Central Mortgage's desperation for money they will beg and push their "free quotes" on you and won't stop calling you!!! If there is nothing else we've learned in this new age of marketing is to not answer your phone if you don't recognize the number, don't open emails, don't reply to text messages, don't buy anything over the phone or online, don't click on adds on Facebook, and be careful what you Google search otherwise you will get flooded with harassment marketing tactics!!! I was contacted by Meegan and offered an interest rate of 4.876 and sent the loan estimate documents with out locking the rate. When i asked why rate lock is not done, she has assured that rate will not change until closing. I have asked to provide the rate lock document repeatedly but every time my request was turned down by giving excuses. Just days before closing, I have received loan disclosure finally which has an interest rate of 6.5. I was totally shocked and questioned them by showing the screenshots of my conversations and they just don't want to accept that. total scam and cheating customers by putting them in a position that they cant go back. I was contacted by Central Mortgage Funding after looking at options to consolidate debt. CMF assured me that they could help me not only pay off my credit card debt, but also lower my monthly mortgage payment and get me a lower interest rate on the loan. For the last two months every step of the process has been an absolute nightmare. Nothing they told me ended up happening the way they insisted it would. I was told not to make my current month's mortgage payment after asking repeatedly if I should, as I was getting worried and this was taking longer than it was supposed to. Because I did as they instructed, the final payoff amount on the existing mortgage was MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF THE LOAN. The only reason my interest rate was lower is because they bought down the rate and added it to the amount of my loan. Loan officer suggested we try to pull a fast one on insurance company and underwriters and open insurance policy for a week and then cancel it after the loan was funded. Luckily for the insurance company they have policies in place to protect themself from such deceptive unethical practices and we were not able to proceed with than plan, which I had expressed discomfort with from the first mention of it. My loan officer Katie Beshara told me that this is what she did when she refinanced her own mortgage. Katie insisted I would get a refund of $2700 after my loan closed. I spoke to the original bank that held my mortgage and they told me that my refund would be $300. Katie lied throughout the process and regularly told me she would call me shortly and then went MIA. The original loan officer Alan was demoted from his position as a supervisor after he treated me like a girl who was trying to break up with him when I said that I was considering another option for refinance. I have gotten constant unsolicited, unwanted calls from multiple telemarketers for this company -- at least 15 calls in the last two days alone, each from a different, posssibly spoofed number (different area codes, different locations in caller ID). I have asked each caller to please remove me from their company's call lists, to no avaiI. I would not consider doing business with this company under any circumstances and have seriously considered discussing with my attorney the steps toward filing a harrassment claim against them. read more

Please be warned! Central Mortgage Funding will LIE and MISLEAD you in order to close the deal. CMF is the company who reached out to us to refinance our home loan. We have refinanced before with another company, have had a good experience, but not this time! KATIE BESHARA is the loan officer we worked with. Beshara made several promises regarding the refinance that never happened. Our interest rate went from 2.75% to 3.379%, our home loan went up $10,000, our mortgage is higher than before the refinance and we are in a much worse financial position! Why would we ever agree to this?? We even called BESHARA the day of closing to make sure what she told would happen (around $9,500 in benefits to us), but she fed us bullshit. Beshara was the only person we dealt with through closing. She claimed to be a licensed loan officer for the last 5 years - and SHE WAS NOT EVEN LICENSED!!! We could not find the MLS # for Beshara. We think she was using her supervisor - Isaac Munawar's MLS #....We trusted Beshara and Central Mortgage Funding and we expect them to take accountability and uphold their fiduciary responsibilities. We have already filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. They tell you you're approved and then force you to pay for a new appraisal and then hand off the loan to "a manager" that then denies you, all while pointing the finger at everyone but themselves. Avoid this company like covid!!! read more
