When I asked her what she meant by special, she said I had a problem with the "payment plan" because I said that it wasn't much of a payment plan. She told me "Well it works for a lot of people, if it doesn't work for you, you can find another driving school". Here's their "payment plan", you can put down half the money before the first driving lesson and then need to pay the balance "five" days later" before the final driving lesson. Really a five-day payment plan, give me a break. When I tried to book an appointment online (before I called) the website states there are NO appointments available. I checked every day for the rest of this month (August 2022) and next month and got the same message. When I told her about it, at first, she acknowledged that there is a problem with this on the site but that there is plenty of availability. And then later recanted and said, oh she didn't know the online booking wasn't working and she'd look into it. When I asked her about the "waiver" she literally said that she is NOT supplying these right now as her printer isn't working...............Seriously, you're running a driving school and you can't/won't print the waiver. So then I asked her if she can't print the physical copy to provide to the client, does she at least send it to the DMV to show proof that the student has met the requirements for a driver license. She said she doesn't do that and doesn't know of any other driving schools that do this either. Helloooo, what line of business are you in again? I have no idea how O.P.A. Driving School Services has gotten such good reviews prior to today or even how Lorena still has a driving school, as she doesn't even seem to know the business of driving. Oh, I also forgot to mention that LORENA is the ONLY driving instructor they have at this time. Did you read what I said earlier, "there is plenty of availability"...... You own a driving school, you are the ONLY driver and you have plenty of availability.........things that make you go hmmmm?

They would also text when they were on their way to pick him up for the lesson. He had his final lesson yesterday and passed his driver's test. We're on our way to get his driver's license today!I found them very easy to deal with. Early on I found that he was getting reminders but I was not, so I asked if they would also send me reminders, and they kindly reached out for a text conversation and fixed that for me, then texted me again to follow up and make sure I had what I needed. I was very relieved not to have to do the driving lessons myself, as I think my anxiety would have been too high. I preferred to have a professional do that job. He had three different instructors during the course of his lessons, and all were very good. In addition, the price was significantly lower than that of other driving schools I checked. I would highly recommend this company if you have someone he needs to learn how to drive!

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this driving school and would not recommend it…read more My instructor told me directly that I'm "not a bad driver," but that he personally wasn't going to pass me this time -- implying other instructors would have. His turn instructions during the test were sudden and confusing, which made it hard to execute them safely and smoothly. I was told I would get three practice/test attempts, but only two actually took place. The "third" session was conducted entirely on the freeway, with no instruction or guidance given at any point -- and the freeway isn't even part of the standard test route. During my last lesson, I noticed the instructor appeared to close his eyes for a few minutes at one point. I raised this with the school, and they said they would review the in-car recording, but I never heard back. The school then told me I could pass if I paid for one more $200 lesson. Given time constraints, I agreed -- but no one followed up with me afterward to schedule it. Based on everything above, my honest read is that the instructor was simply exhausted after back-to-back lessons that day and didn't want to make the trip to the DMV to file paperwork, so he found reasons to fail me -- or wanted an extra lesson fee out of it. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I can't recommend this school.

Rebecca, the office manager is so kind and helpful during the onboarding process and working with my WIOA rep. Jollen was an incredible instructor, patient, helpful, and encouraging. Bill is a silly gentle giant who offered kind words and useful tips when out on the road. Jay is a real one, he's good at breaking things down until you fully understand. Hector was my tester and he was able to help me calm my nerves before my final road test today. WHICH I PASSED! The whole experience was a blast, I'm so grateful. I can't thank MG trucking enough.
