Connect existing driveway into poll building and a signed contract in May with completion date in July. Come Aug we haven't even touched a single blade of grass on my property yet. 24k thousand gone. Excuses and excuses and lies after lies for months. He's currently in jail for all the various customers you see in these reviews. Went by multiple names. David White is what he lead me to believe. Zero stars!!! I was also referred by Del Val pools. Every review you are reading is 100% accurate. Next level concrete is a joke. Same story here, I was also told every excuse under the sun on why he couldn't show up or why your work isn't finished. He takes your money and promises you the world. 1 year later still waiting for Scott to refund my money! On top of his mess, I had to rehire new contractors to complete the work he never finished. Scott does Not even have the common courtesy to return your calls/text. All my concrete was pitched towards my house instead of away, causing large puddles of water under my windows and doors. When I asked about why it was pitched like that he had a story. Not surprised! He then promised to add the proper drainage so it didn't flood. Needless to say, that NEVER happened. I Had to hire a contractor to rip out my whole back wall from all the water damage that was caused from the way the concrete is pitched. Sloppy work, pool coping full of concrete, work boots foot prints in my concrete!!! The Only time Scott shows up is to collect your money! Do not use this company!! They were recommended to us by Del Val Pools and they did a terrible job. They left a long seam that looks terrible. He Promised to fix it many times. Never did. They spattered concrete all over the bull nose of the pool. Said that he would clean it. Never did. Spattered concrete all over my new air conditioner and deck and railing. Claimed that he would clean it. Never did. He tore up my sprinkler system after my landscaper mark it out for him. His guys wanted to fight the sprinkler people in the street in front of my house. They are a complete joke! I have 40-50 text messages from him promising to fix these issues. He's a complete lier. I just wish that I had held payment until he resolved these issues. There are zero advantages with using this business. He will simply take your money, akin to stealing, and not deliver anything. He will promise to complete the job but does NOTHING short of cashing your check. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. Scott Miller and Next Level concrete promised that they would install a concrete pool deck, rear steps, and front paver steps in November of 2022. They took 2/3 of my money and only demolished the old concrete. They did not complete the job, damaged my pool liner, and left me in worse position than I was in the first place. Del Val Pools in Turnersville NJ and in Elmer NJ recommended him, he held a valid license, and had insurance. I also had checked his references which were all great when I verified them. This does not change the fact that he made promise after promise that the concrete was going to be done. SCOTT MILLER and NEXT LEVEL CONCRETE failed to obtain any proper permits even though he told me that he had taken care of them. All of 2023 he promised me that the job would be completed but provided excuse after excuse from his father being in the hospital, to being involved in a car accident, to being sick, to being off for Juneteenth (even though he told me that he would there on that day), to his crew called out sick and was short-staffed, to the concrete companies were delaying who they were providing concrete to. etc. He then contacted me in February of 2024 and apologized for everything and agreed to make it all right by doing the job that he didn't originally by no later than March 31, 2024. Scott Miller would send out one guy who would work for maybe two hours and then leave for the day. This happened over and over again. The job was never completed yet his social media is filled with him doing other concrete jobs when he couldn't do mine. He even took my checks originally and cashed them at a check cashing facility via his girlfriend, Alexandra Gelone, signing them. Please save yourself and stay away from this guy and don't give him your time or money. Scott Miller and his father David Miller give every excuse in the book as to why the job cannot be done but they have no problem taking your money for the job that they don't intend on completing. This is year 3 and I still haven't been able to recover my funds. Shoddy work, left huge cracks and holes in cement around pool. Took him to court and he knows all the ins and outs on not having to be accountable. I received a judgement but his business address is fraudulent. He cashes all his checks at check cashing spots so you can't put a bank levy. Stay away from this guy. He is totally destroying his father's legacy of being a great concrete installer. In my experience, it took Scotty precisely one year from breaking ground to get water in my pool--mind you, the job was still far from finished. Throughout that year, I endured a litany of excuses. Post-water installation, he neglected to finish the salt conversion or provide basic instructions on operating the pool pump and filter, despite our lack of experience with pools. Prior to admitting that my pool would not be completed that year, Scotty made empty assurances, such as monthly checks and an upgraded pool cover. Predictably, the checks allegedly got lost in transit multiple times, and the pool cover supposedly shipped without any tracking information. Needless to say, neither money nor cover materialized. Instead, I received excuses throughout the winter months, punctuated by a half-hearted attempt to cover the pool with tarps. Scotty only shows up when it's time to collect money or swindle you into unnecessary upgrades, insisting on immediate payment to expedite the process--a classic maneuver in his playbook. For anyone considering his services, I strongly advise against paying more than the initial deposit in increments. The work Scotty did manage to complete was subpar at best. Concrete footprints and persistent white spots marred the finish, with promises of correction unfulfilled months later. The shoddy work extended to the pool's mechanics, where a leaky bubbler and malfunctioning skimmer were supposed to be swiftly repaired. However, delays ensued, compounded by Scotty's reluctance to provide essential information like part numbers, which I ultimately found readily available online. Moreover, Scotty overlooked basic maintenance issues, such as unglued bricks and rust around the pool lights, neglecting his responsibilities to rectify these deficiencies. His communication was equally unreliable--promising workers who failed to materialize or sending them to the wrong location, much to their confusion and my frustration. YELP SHOULD OFFER A HORRIBLE RATING. Scotty Miller, his "pops" and Next Level Concrete are conmen. Unfortunately for me, they did come out and performed work at my home. They did the cement work for Delval Pools and when we wanted extra cement around the pool it only made sense to use the same cement contractor. Big mistake. There are at least six pending complaints with Consumer Affairs and other people are suing Next Level independently. The damage they caused to my home aside from the bad cement work was horrible. Ripped off gutters (which I had to pay to replace); damaged siding; the porch they installed is sloped toward my house causing rain to sit against the door as well as in the track of my sliding glass door. This winter the door was not usable because of the ice that pooled outside of it. Porch needs to be torn out and redone completely. Not enough space to list all of the issues.
