His shop is modest and it's only him, but he does a great job, takes his time and more important cuts my hair straight. If you want a 15-minute hair cut, go somewhere else. It'll take Sam at least 20-30 minutes because he's deliberate and careful which I appreciate. Some other barbers i've been to make fun of him, but I keep coming back. They say he's too slow, but they never criticize the quality of his cuts because they can't. He is the definition of old school, traditional barber. He uses shears and scissors and will shave around your ears and neck with a straight razor. He has a loyal customer base and he knows everyone in the neighborhood. Don't go to him if you're in a hurry. If he has people waiting, he won't talk. If you're the only person in the shop, he'll socialize. I appreciate that.

We did have to wait a bit, but that's because the barber that cuts kids had a client already. We showed Micheal the pictures and he was able to mix and accomplish our requests perfectly. One of my brothers is very tender headed, but he sat through his hair cut well. We left about 2+ hours after closing, and they lived their cuts! Will be returning!
