I've tried to book however a few other times and they keep canceling the appt without giving me reason. It kind of sucks because I over tip. Good thing now is my money will go someplace else to a barber who will be more prompt about their services and appointments.

Other positives: a bright, clean storefront with three large flatscreen TVs, a comfy couch and two lounge chairs up front instead of typical straight-back waiting area chairs. Plenty of magazines, too, plus an "absolutely no profanity" sign and lots of posters of music legends of many genres.

But let me tell you, the first guy took 45 min, second guy was 75 min in and still going by the time I left. The first barber (light-skinned latino) took 45 min, worked hard and did an excellent job on an older man. Honestly, while I waited and saw him work, I wanted my cut with him. Unfortunately he left to go inside their building and was replaced by this young black haired latino. He was working on this guy who walked in with a Phil Foden cut and 75 min in, largely unchanged but with a clean trim on the sides. (There was hardly any hair on the ground ) One reason his cut was taking so long was this barber was too busy live-streaming on his phone, occasionally looking at peoples' comments. It also didn't help he was cutting at a snail's pace. It's one thing to be attentive to detail (something the first barber was good at). It's another to just go hair by hair. Bad for business, wasting peoples' time, so much that I don't feel like stopping by the actual shop. Hope the business sees this and if they do, please let me know the name of that guy. If I ever do stop by, I'd like to avoid him at all cost.

When I walked in, I got tattoo parlor vibes. But, the staff was VERY nice. The shop was well maintained, cleaned and the staff was great. Unlike a tattoo parlor, or typical barbershop, there was no obsessive foul language. My young man got a shampoo, leave in conditioner and cut for $26. The cut was decent (at best). The other drawback was that the barber didn't style his hair. But, other than that, things went ooookay. We will not return. Adam was decent, but didn't blend the fade well and the shape-up wasn't sharp, not sure if he just wasn't comfortable with course hair or what. Her equipment was very clean, and she took extra care to be sensitive to problem areas while maintaining a fantastic well rounded cut. The shampoo, wash, face care and massage left me feeling refreshed enough to skip Massage Envy across the street. Looking forward to returning to Baltimore to visit J'Bria and Floyds.
