I am relatively new to the whole hockey thing and my son told me he had to get his skates sharpened…read moreapparently you were supposed to avoid the arenas for this task and a friend said go to skater's edge which I did The guys that work there educated me a little bit about skate blades and the fact I wasn't coming in enough good sales pitch I think but apparently he supposed to get his skates sharpened every 6 to 8 hours I had no idea The cost to get your skates sharpened is $8 and it takes around 8 minutes as I time them. The only negative I suppose would be that you should make an appointment to get your skates sharpened when I was in there wasn't busy at all however I can see that potentially it could get pretty hairy in there as when I was leaving the states started to pile up. It's located in a nondescript strip mall next to Walgreens and unfortunately Walgreens put up a bunch of posts so you cannot get into their parking lot from Walgreens. This we've got to go around the horn to get into their lot so watch your GPS

I had a friend call ahead for me to get my skates done because I can't leave my wheels for a week. He was so very nice and accommodating. He even gave me a history lesson on my boot because I told him how a good friend made them for me from an old ice skating boot. They were from the Cleveland Skate Company and the boot is hard to get now. Long story short my babies look even better now! Thank you Skater's Edge!! Excellent service, and Value!

The indoor park itself is nice. My biggest complaint is the constant terrible language used by the…read moreskaters. There is absolutely no regard for the younger kids. Its mostly the kids ranging from 12-17. The amount of times I heard "suck my c@c% in the 3 hours I was there was completely disgusting. ​I even heard one of the older kids (maybe 18-19) tell a 15 yr old "dude, do you have to cuss so much" to which the response was "how about you eat these nuts, b!$@&". Its not a great environment and no supervision. Parents must be dumping their kids off and leaving. The older kids are great (18 and up). Its $15 per skater, helmets required, has 2 vending machines, large skate/bike area, foam pit, smaller ramp area, skate shop with lots of merch. Customer service desk has been kind.

I'm up here visiting family and started researching options to purchase skates while in town and came across Matt's website. I emailed and we struck up a conversation. He was responsive and helpful. I finally made it to the store yesterday for a fitting and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Matt took the time to talk and get to know me and my needs. He gave me so many options and explained the pros and cons of each. He was upfront about price points (not cheap) and when/if a more expensive option was better for me. These are not entry level, recreational skates. Know what you are getting into. His prices were exactly what I expected for my needs. I tried on five skates in multiple sizes covering three brands to ensure that I was getting exactly what I needed. He includes heat molding, blade mounting and sharpening with a purchase. He was understanding of my need to think about it and not purchase day of. He wasn't pushy at all. I was able to text him and order the next day after confering with my husband. I will absolutely be back and Matt is now a trusted partner in my skating adventure.

This place was hopping on a Saturday morning. I stopped in for a set of free weights in a new…read moresize, and they have a pretty good selection, both neoprene coated and straight metal. Weights are priced by the pound (not labeled) with a slight variation in new vs used. The store was a bit hard to navigate, and I circled around a few times before I found the weights. I will say, that while the price was fair, I think it's equivalent or less to buy new, so I will probably just hit Target next time.

This exceptional world class facility is very affordable too. There are a couple rooms for BMX but the majority of this place has MTB and pump tracks. There is even a foam pit for stunts. The yellow trail is for novices but still fun for everyone! The green trail I could handle but was challenging. Everything else was for experts and some professionals. You can store your bike in a locker, bring your own, or rent. The bike rental was amazing and they let you swap between mountain bike, mini pump bike, and BMX bike. The only small improvement could be helmet rental which you can pick from a basket of sweaty helmets. There is ample parking outside the warehouse or you could catch an Uber taxi there. It's a very isolated industrial location.

Been off bike for a few months so my cardio is non existent but it was a great time with so many lines to choose from that even 3 hours I still haven't explored the whole place. Staff was excellent and super approachable. Willing to switch rental bikes if you wanted to try your hand at a dirt jumper or a XC rig. Can't recommend this place enough!
