First time coming to this urgent care. The people are nice and patience. The process to check in was fast. However, I have been in this waiting room for the patients for about 30 minutes. They are a bit slow with attending their patients. Today seems to be a bit slow not a lot of people out in the waiting, yet I'm still here waiting for someone to help me.

I got hurt at work and was sent here. I Walked in and was greeted by a really nice woman. She was doing my paper work and seated me while I waited the waiting room was super clean and made me feel safe. When I was sent into my room I was treated quickly everyone including the doctor were understanding and made me feel heard. Thank you soo much

I went here to get Covid tested. They didn't take insurance at the time, which I was fine with so I paid cash. A month later I got a bill for 25 dollars in the mail. I tried calling their billing department 3 times and they never answered. A month has passed and now I have a letter from a debt collector for the $25. I tried calling the debt collector, and their number they provided also doesn't work. Terrible place that will bill you for services you already paid for.

I was pretty concerned cause I couldn't put much weight on my foot and thought I ruined my whole vacay. I walked into this location, and I have to say, I had nothing but a good time. Honestly, I really enjoyed speaking with the nurse and doctor. They had me laughing and kept me distracted as I was waiting for results. Had a fairly quick turn around. They took my X-rays and gave me the best advice imaginable. Within days, I was back to walking normally, simply because I followed exactly what they said. Sounds funny, but I was kind of bummed to part ways since I had such a great time interacting with them. Never did I imagine I could have such a great experience at an urgent care given the circumstances.

Needless to say, $200 something dollars (no blood work, no x-rays, no physical, no nothing) and an hour later, just for the doctor to tell me that my debilitating chest pain was "likely just exacerbated by anxiety." Anxiety, bruh?!? Wow. I took the day off work just to be told this shit? No physical exam, just talk talk talk a whole bunch of nonsense. When I asked if I should at least have an EKG done I was told "you could have a normal EKG today and have a heart attack tomorrow, those things aren't reliable." WOW! Are you the one who's going to pay for it??? Nothing against NP's because both of my sister-in-laws are EXCELLENT NP's (who just happen to live out of state) but this guy did not know what on earth he was talking about. Thank goodness I recently had bloodwork done at a REAL doctor's office and everything came out normal except for slightly elevated LDL cholesterol levels (the bad cholesterol) which I can't help to think may have contributed to my chest pain - chest pain that I could have figured out the root cause MONTHS ago had they just done their due diligence and ordered bloodwork. I would say to just go to the ER but I have heard horror stories from friends who get stuck with $3,000 bills just for a panic attack so definitely do NOT do that. It's really unfortunate and absolutely SUCKS how the healthcare system in the US (the supposedly "best" country on the planet, yeah right) is broken, dysfunctional, money hungry, and just all-around effed up. 2 stars, would NOT recommend.

Garcia (nurse), Juanantonio Guevara, and Priscilla for false information upon my discharge. Mrs. Garcia and elder lady appeared to be nice until she did not like what she was hearing from my wife. She basically told my wife to shut up. This nurse is a bad example and a reason why this hospital's rating is incredibly low (3.2) along with other misfits that are not well trained. This nurse has an attention deficit problem, follow by noticeable anger and a need to insult the patient in person and after being released with fabricating falsehoods and posting it. If any of these unprofessional staffers disrespect you report them immediately ASAP, apperantly these misfits have gotten away with this misconduct for some time now and needs to be addressed and rectify.

There's no privacy so when the staff member is asking, loudly, for my social security number, address, and telephone number. Everyone waiting in the lobby can hear your answers. Instead I wrote it on a paper and ask that she shred it in front of me, which she did. I think it would make patients feel better if they had enclosed booths to protect their privacy. I looked at the paperwork she handed me as I was going up to get my labs done and noticed she listed my race as white. I'm definitely not white, so it irritated me that she just decided to assume my race. I told her I was African American after I dealt with the lab. Upstairs was no better. A nurse was racing through my surgery prep instructions. She told me to use wipes to disinfect my skin saying, "If you start burning and turn red wash it off immediately." I ask her what they were/contained. Her response "I don't know. I couldn't tell you." She continued racing through the instructions and I ask her to slow down because I wasn't able to follow her. She rolled her eyes and said she's sending the paperwork home with me. I told her if I have questions I'd prefer to ask them now then guess at home. One of her instructions was, if you have an emergency after your surgery, "don't come back here because there's nothing we can do for you here." Nice. I went back downstairs to correct my race, which they did, and ask when my showtime was. She said your doctor will call you with it. I had an uneasy feeling and called my dr from the parking lot. They said there's no way the Dr. can tell you when Christus slotted him for the OR. I went BACK in to relay this and the staff went back and forth about how they don't know. She called HER scheduling department to get the number for BAMC's scheduler and the person on the line told her my showtime was 5:30AM. So they did know. The day of my surgery, that same rude nurse told me if I wanted to use a tube to just turn it up. I asked her what tube she was referring to and where the dial was, she responded "It's right there." Gesturing with her head instead of showing me how to use it. Some of the staff were kind, others seemed to hate their job, patients, or both. The mean nurse would just tell you she was going to give or do something to you without explaining what was going on or on your body. Someone in the OR ripped off the surgical tape that was securing the et-tube to my face and took off the first layer of my skin. During admission they said I wouldn't be allowed to leave until I was able to void, walk on my own, and eat or drink something. The only thing they did was give me something to drink. None of the other discharge requirements were asked of me before they told me to get dressed to go home. I was happy to leave, despite the failure to follow their own instructions. I honestly don't feel comfortable going back to that hospital. I feel like their staff is burned out and taking it out on patients.
